Mine is almost verbatim of the review just previous to mine, but it is written with my exact sentiment, so I am plagiarizing a little. :) It wasn't expensive. "The owners were nice and courteous. The room was out dated and old fashioned. But my shower was hot and the linens were clean. They have real metal keys to open...

What to say...beds were terrible, room dirty, lucky to have hot water (none to be had when we checked in). It is on top of a steep ridge. Check in was easy though. You got an actual key on a green tag :)

Although the rooms are quite motel standard, the patio in front every room invites to sit outside for breakfast or drink. The pool is located in the 'garden', in front of the rooms. Parking is at the sides, so not in front of the motel rooms. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed one night, but would have stayed...

the hotel itself was nice but there was a chained dog in a house next door on Leatherwood St. that was barking all night! I was so concerned for the dog that I called animal control. I would not recommend this hotel until they do something about that poor dog!

The rooms are older but clean. The owners are really cool and friendly. If you are looking for a resort this is not it. If you are looking for a good value this is it. It makes a great launching pad for the surrounding activities. Unless you like walking up a half mile of hill you will have to drive...

I would not recommend this hotel if you're a light sleeper. The walls a very thin. I could hear everything my neighbors were doing and saying even with TV on. The rates were good but the noise overrides the price. I wouldn't stay here again.

We booked online for 2 nights. BIG MISTAKE! ! The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. But who can sleep when you can CLEARLY HEAR EVERYTHING in rooms on either side. There were dogs barking, people hanging out in front of the rooms smoking and talking loudly until midnight or later both nights! Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND- unless you...

You want amenities, art deco design, flat screen t.v.'s, etc. keep driving. You want a quiet place to stay with a comfortable bed for cheap, this is your place. Stayed here on a Cherokee weekend because everything was sold out. Glad I did. About a 10 minute easy drive to the casino. Try it out.
