Booked this place last minute. Had driven by it before when in Boone. Yes it is an Older Motel and could use some updating but for the price I got. I didn’t think it was so bad. Our room was clean. I clearly knew it said Highland Hills not Hilton. Last minute road trip, I’d d

We were looking for pet friendly accommodations so we tried this place. Thought about leaving BEFORE we ever checked in! Pool was emptied of water and being worked on during our $337 three (3) night stay. AC was a low performing window unit, shower water lines were reversed so y

Ok it was overpriced -office staff Rude. THere was a super nice Maintance young man, William who was the only courteous staff there. He was extremely helpful, professional, he fixed our a/c, he gave us towels, he later came back at our request to get shower working. My husband sa

Stayed in a weekender duplex. Overall, the cottage was clean, but had a little bit of a stale smell, it's a bit dated, and the oven door was broken. The hardest thing to deal with was the water pressure. It was difficult to clean dishes or take a shower. Occasionally, the wa

I am looking at booking a 2 bedroom cabin. After looking at the reviews, I am very concerned. The price seems to be reasonable, but the reviews seem like the cabinets are old, dirty, musty, etc. I have allergies and that is one reason of concern. Please let me know if any upgrades or cleaning has been done at the cabins. Surely all these reviews have some merit to them. I am not a complaining type person and I understand some people complain about everything. Just want to be sure the facility is clean. Thank you.
"If staying in one of the weekender cottages, try to get 33 or 34... 35&36 are next to the go-cart track"
"Please, they have the nerve to say 'resort?' seriously! Google the address to see what you're really getting."
"Don't Waste your money!!!!!! Don't stay here."
"Stay in the lodgements or cabins, rather than the motel. Bring your own pillows."
"Get one of the cabins, I suppose, if you have to, but avoid the regular hotel rooms."
