We had a great time camping here for two nights this past weekend. As soon as we pulled in children were playing and laughing. The campground was decorated for Halloween. It has a great atmosphere. Trick-or-treating was a blast. The haunted trail and hayride were also fun. The staff is amazing here. Everyone treated us with respect and friendliness. They... More

Stayed at this campground for the hurricane app state game. The premises were well kept and people friendly. I stayed in A12 as there were not very many options and would pick a better spot next time as this back up against a clay wall and the site a section is very open. The bathroom facilities were basic and clean... More

My wife and I spent a long weekend at Honey Bear Campground. We stayed in C3 which is a double site and we were under the assumption that there was a buffer between us and C4. Unfortunately there is nothing between the sites. Luckily we had great neighbors and it wasn't a problem Love the campground, staff and they have... More

This was our second visit to Honey Bear! We booked our campsite a week ago. The last time we went we stayed on a private primatial site. This time we got one with water and electric. The American iTunes made life easier. The sites are a good size and you can have very private locations or near other campers. The... More

We had a wonderful family trip at the honey bear campground. It was so quiet and peaceful, the grass was well kept and my son loved running and rolling around in it, as we love further south we constantly have to worry about fire ants in grass. The pond and ducks were so lovely! Very calming and entertaining to sit... More

We live about 2.5 hours away and wanted to go tubing during a free weekend. The KOA was completely booked so my husband found this site. For $30 plus an extra $20 per tent we had a site with electric, water, a rock fire pit, and a picnic table - all on gravel. We also paid $5 for a bundle... More

This is an old campground but an ok place to stay for a few days. The full service spot that we had is very small and not level. It was difficult to get my small 20 ft camper backed in due to the size. After setup, we were almost touching the bushes to our door side. Probably will not be... More

Beautiful campground with nice Creek & pond for fishing. The grounds are really nice and we enjoy the quiet peacefulness of the place. They have a nice coffee shop behind the office and normally offer movies on their lawn outside the office during the summer on special occasions.

My family of 4 stayed at HoneyBear Campground July 23-25th, 2016. Upon arrival, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The gal at the front desk office asked if we needed firewood and we did, she had it delivered prompty. I think it was an extra $5 or so, depending on how much you got. We camped in B3, a... More

We drove to Honey Bear Campground yesterday to enjoy a two night camping get-away.....hoping to set up our VW Westfalia in a grassy tent site. Wow, were we ever disappointed. The grass was parched and very dry, the picnic tables were either broken or terribly old and decrepit, the tent area obviously not well maintained. We went right back to... More
