Interesting place-close to everything but out of the crowds. Great staff, good food excellent brews. Blowing Rock is a charming little town and this place is a great find,. Will be back as quick as possible.

We stopped here during our anniversary trip. Place was packed, even at 3pm. We did get a seat at the tiny bar after waiting a few minutes. i was confused by how small the bar was since we were at a brewery. 10'ish seats crammed into a small room that's almost cut off from the rest of the building....which is...

Management response:

We are sorry to hear that you had a poor experience at the Ale House. Our locations began as a bed and breakfast which was converted to the Ale House and Inn once we acquired the building. We enjoy the cozy aspect of our location and hope that our patrons do as well. Our brewing styles are traditional by design...

Found this place quite by accident while looking for a parking place. Lovely interior, nice and warm on a cold, wet day. The food was above average. Tasty southern fried chicken sandwich, burger cooked to perfection, and the surprise, a salmon sandwich with country ham!!! Our waiter was very personable but not overbearing, and the brews were good. Definitely would...

Came here over this Winterfest weekend. Tried the chili at the cookoff and decided to stop in. They were out of beer cheese so got pimento cheese with pretzels which was awesome. Had the raspberry wheat and loved it. Second beer was pilsner which was awesome too. Sat at the bar (tiny) and got great service. Jourdyn was super friendly...

Stopped in after a day of shopping in Blowing Rock. Really cozy and inviting atmosphere. Lots of Blowing Rock Brewery choices on tap. We enjoyed the High Country Ale. Small bar area but several areas to sit including outside

Beer, food, facility, atmosphere & service were all exceptional! A wonderful time with my 70+ year old father declaring his beer was the best he ever had. After travelling the world and drinking a LOT of beer, his approval is special. Our entire family enjoyed the vibe & our time together! Cheers!

My fiancé and I stayed here for the weekend. The rooms are super cute and the staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms and entire property were clean and neat. This Inn was right above the brewery and was right in the middle of town. Easy to walk to shops and restaurants. We only gave three stars because the weekend we...

Visited the Blowing Rock Ale House on 10/29 after reading the great reviews of the Bison burger. Arrived before the 11:30 a.m. opening time so we visited the back of the restaurant (Brewery?) and met others there, waiting for the opening, playing cornhole. Had an adult beverage with them and went in for lunch around noon and we were seated...

We had lunch at this restaurant October 17th and it was a disaster...The waitress apparently did not understand very well what we were asking or just did not care. I asked if they had Panna water and she answered only Aqua Panna... My sister had to ask several times for a straw, I asked for half a lemon for the...

Came to the Blowing Rock Ale House and Inn for dinner and a drink on a busy October Saturday and waited over an hour to be seated..but we amused ourselves with all the cute shops in town in the meantime. Finally got the call that our table was ready and I'm happy to report we were sat in a cozy...
