Charming little place with beautiful grounds. Rooms are small but nicely done with wood floors, heavy drapes, great bed, and quality linens. Rooms had a deck off the back of each room. The reception area for breakfast was lovely with stone fireplace and timber pegged beams. Breakfast was adequate with the normal fare. The hotel was pet friendly.

It was my first visit to Blowing Rock/Village Inn and I was completely satisfied with our 3 night stay (we arrived Labor Day). My boyfriend has been there before and HIGHLY praised the facility....so out anticipation was high. With one exception..... On Labor Day when we checked in, Jason was at the desk and to put it nicely, he was...

We checked out today, 9/6. We checked in on the labor day and were very excited about this hotel because of the reviews and photos. First the good part This hotel is different. The room and furniture is different compared to all the hotel chains you find across the country. Now the not so good part.. The guy at the...

2 room cottage with a bathroom & kitchen. Such a comfy King sized bed! Free wine & crackers in the lobby 4:30-5:30pm! My favorite cheese- brie! Nutella & crackers too. Great breakfast! So quiet. Wonderful teas & coffee in the cottage. Stream out back. Cute lake in front. Friendly staff. Perfect grounds for dogs. I'll be back!

Never having been to Blowing Rock before, we weren't sure what to expect. The town is quaint and beautiful. The Village Inn was a great surprise. Our room was large and comfortable, and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast and the Evening Reception in the common room were wonderful. The room itself was beautiful, and the selection...

Lily & Jacob were very helpful with information needed on restaurants in the area. The location is right on the main highway, rooms were very neat & tidy. Appearance of room on internet is big, disappointed in the size of the room once we got there. Was a great experience overall.

It suited our needs as a place to sleep for the evening but I feel the pictures online were deceiving as to the room size etc. Room was definitely much smaller than what I had anticipated. Desk clerk who checked us in was less than personable or friendly. Bed was hard (I'm a soft bed person, my husband liked it)....

We stayed in Blowing Rock for one night on the way to the Virginia Mountains. We usually stay at The Meadowbrook, but the rates were high there, and very reasonable at the Village Inn -- make sure to check for the AARP, AAA etc. discount. The room we got was 106 and it was very nice -- close to the...

I stayed at the hotel in July 16. The price was very reasonable. And I was very satisfied with the clean room and comfortable bed. The room size was also good. The lake in front of the rooms is also nice. Breakfast was also okay.
