Loved the historic part of the inn, but appreciated the updates in the rooms, bathrooms and with the amenities. They have done well in keeping the charm and history as well as giving people updates where it counts! Water stayed hot in the shower for a long time, wifi worked great, everything you would expect from a hotel. Great staff,...

I normally tend to stay at newer hotels, but, every time we visited Blowing Rock, NC, we always wanted to check out this hotel. First of all, setting up the reservation with Perry at the front desk was easy and we enjoyed working with her in setting up our mini vacation. She was pleasant to talk to and took the...

This historic inn is well worth the value. Breakfast included in the rate is a terrific value. Don't miss the history preserved in the inn when you visit. The staff was very helpful with information about the surrounding area.

This place is incredible, the history alone makes it worth spending a night, but The Green Park Inn's onsite restaurant is great, the staff is top-notch, and the renovated rooms provide all the modern amenities you could need without losing the inn's original charm. We ate two meals at the restaurant and both were delicious. Also got lost on the...

The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was amazing, especially the morning that it was buffet style. The location is great - far enough out of town that it feels less busy, but still close enough to everything that it is super convenient. We will definitely be back!

We had a lovely two day visit in Blowing Rocks and enjoyed the Inn. Room was very large and clean. The amenities were very well thought out. Loved having the Keurig coffee maker in room. Breakfast was excellent. Great staff, very attentive. If you like Historic Inns that have the old time feel you will like staying here.

The rooms were large and the beds were soooo comfy. It was fun imagining travelers from over 100 years ago staying in the inn. The staff was helpful. Very very clean. The free breakfast was amazing. Great central location to explore the Southern Highlands.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay! We, too, like to imagine travelers of the past. We like to think that the previous presidents that stayed, met in the Tavern and had a drink, while discussing politics. We really appreciate your feedback, and thank you for recommending us!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The graceful Victorian era hotel, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, has been lovingly and faithfully restored as of the fall of 2010. Turn back the clock to a more genteel time when exquisite attention to guest's needs, a polite, respectful and helpful staff, and an atmosphere of quiet elegance was the magnet that drew authors, poets, presidents and first ladies to the cool mountain breezes of the Green Park Inn. Come and experience our affordable elegance. When you want to spend time away, spend it somewhere that's timeless. The Chestnut Grille Restaurant is open nightly, or weekends seasonally. The Divide Tavern opens nightly at 5pm, serving casual dinner fare. ... more   less
