My husband and I visited for three nights. Theresa is a wonderful hostess, and provides a wealth of local lore. The B&B is lovely and spacious. We stayed in the Greybeard Room and loved the oversize bath and lake view. The breakfasts were absolutely first rate; served on the deck overlooking the lake. The place is peaceful and perfect for...

My wife and I stayed in the Arbor House to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. I have to say it was just about perfect stay: the food was gourmet restaurant level fare, the room was great, the grounds were immaculate, the location (right on the small lake) was spectacular, and our hosts were so helpful. Priced more than a simple...

Talk about getting away from it all! We did, and this was the perfect location. Beautifully situated on a lake with the mountains (a view of the "Seven Sisters") in the background, the Arbor House is truly an idyllic spot. Jim and Theresa, the innkeepers, chose this spot for a reason...it's breathtaking! We were greeted with a gourmet tray of...

My husband and I stayed in the studio apartment, not the house, which was perfect for us. Small breakfast was delivered each day, so we didn't have to wake up at a particular time. We left our windows open all night and heard duck activity on Tomahawk Lake. Quite a difference from what we hear outside our near-the-train Chicago (Oak...

Our hosts at this amazing B and B have truly thought of everything. The rooms are well appointed and immaculately clean with everything you might need provided. The view from the communal deck of the mountains and lake are unforgettable. You can access the path circling the lake from the private, beautifully landscaped garden.
