We had a beautiful romantic dinner here during our visit to Asheville. When we first entered the building we stepped into a beautiful living room with a wood burning fireplace where guests were enjoying the warmth on a very cool and rainy fall day. We were seated right next to a window with a lovely view of the leaves falling....

I have enjoyed dinner here in two separate occassions, two years apart in time! Each time there were 6-7 of us being served. The service was delightful, the food was fabulous and the desserts were the best I have ever tasted!

Had a couples weekend while in the area for a wedding. Rooms are decorated nicely, with a different charm to each one. Staff and the breakfast are amazing. Complimentary water and sodas around the clock. Our room was smaller, but full of charm. Walls are ... well, we could carry conversation with the kind people next to us ;)

Red Rocker Inn is a wonderful find in Black Mountain. The Owners/Staff are extremely courteous and accommodating yet respectful of your space. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated. The grounds are spacious with several quiet places to relax. The chef is amazing, if you are in the area and can't stay stop in for breakfast or dinner. The food...

We stayed in Elizabeth's attic and it's a lovely, spacious room. The king bed is beautiful. The temperature is delightful although it is an "attic" - great views from all windows. Looking forward to many return visits to this bed and breakfast.

Hi Shannon. Thanks for your visit and your review! The Elizabeth's Attic is most everyone's favorite room. Have you been here in December? We always set up a Christmas tree next to the fireplace.

By far one of the best Bed and Breakfast locations we have visited. The service, food and lodging was first class at all levels..... We strongly recommend the place if traveling to Asheville or any any surrounding areas....

We spent two weekends in a row at Red Rocker. Had a wonderful time and the food was excellent. Desserts are all made on site by Jenny and are awesome--coconut cake to die for!!! Sat on the porch rockers and enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood. Walking distance to downtown shopping in Black Mountain.

Hi Andrea! We so appreciate you taking the time to write a review. There is so much more to The Red Rocker Inn than the rooms, so I'm glad you enjoyed the porch and delightful neighborhood. Have you had a chance to sit around the fire pit in the yard under the pine trees? That's a favorite gathering spot too....

We stayed in the Appalachian room on the 2nd floor. The rooms were quiet and very comfortable and the staff was super accommodating to our group's crazy arrival times. Really though, the dinner is what took our stay to the 5star zone. We are all from the deep south, and we all agreed that the chicken and waffles were seriously...

The innkeepers are incredibly welcoming and appear do all they can for each guest. Our room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom also was large. The quality bath and bed linens were enjoyable, and the bed was very comfortable. There are enough public places both inside and outside to be able to enjoy quiet time. From the first inquiry...
