This B&B is in a quiet walkable neighborhood right on the water. Karen so helpful helping us find a nice dinner location and kayaks so we could explore a little on the water. The room was lovely. Karen was willing to work with my husbands celiac issues.

Andy and Karen are wonderful hosts. The ramp and first floor room is perfect for those of us with some mobility issues. The Tuesday night music at the Main Street Landing was an awesome treat! We know we will be back many more times!

Eastern North Carolina is about peaceful beauty, not drama. Bellhaven provides both the peace and the beauty. And this B&B is a very pleasant place to stay. Friendly and considerate but not over-talkative hosts. Convenient to Lake Mattamuskeet . . . and there aren't many pleasant places to stay convenient to Mattamuskeet!

We made a trip to easter North Carolina to see the wildfowl and called Karen for two nights. She only hadone night but recommended other B&Bs. When had no luck so stayed at the BelHaven just one night. We found that Karen and Andy were from PA not far from where we lived a number of years ago. Delightful couple...

We stayed with the Fishers last week. A congenial and welcoming couple, they gave us a perfect time and a better picture of their adopted town. Coffee was hot. Food was tasty and artfully presented. We had our bicycles and kayaks so we explored the town and the waters of Pantego Creek and the Pungo River. With information from the...

This home is beautifully furnished and the breakfasts were delicious and substantial. Karen & Andy let us stay the first night in their "overflow" cabin; pleasingly decorated and comfortable, but the bed in the cabin is a fold out--so beware if you are travelers with back issues. The main house beds were very comfortable. I wish we might have had...

Andy & Karen are gracioius hosts. They restored their Water St. water view manor from the bottom to top with quality, craftspersonship and a lot of love and a few laughs. Cool summer rooms with private warm showers and endless fluffy cotton towels. 1 room has a whirlpool bath and if you want privacy there is a (pottery)studio apt. in...

It was my husband's first B & B experience and it was a very enjoyable one. We would definitely make a return visit. The breakfast was large enough to hold us until suppertime. The owners were just super!

Pros: The room was nicely decorated and comfortable. The location can not be beat .. across from the water, walking distance to restaurants. The innkeepers are nice people and have good information about the area. The food is excellent and plentiful. Cons: Be aware that the common areas described are part of the innkeepers living area. So they are usually...
