Husband purchased 3 nights through LivingSocial. Huge mistake. Filthy is not strong enough. If we could give this place no points we would. If we had not paid for this in advance we would not have stayed one night. I would name what was dirty but everything was filthy. Thank goodness we brought our own pillows and blanket. Also, they... My wife and I stayed in the Blue Ridge room for 2 nights. The inn is old and not perfect but it was very adequate. We had a big, clean room with a beautiful view at a reasonable price. The staff was nice and helpful. We'd stay there again.

Nice rustic atmosphere. Don't recommend booking during off-season. We stayed for 4 days. Wi-Fi was not available in our room. They said it was too far from the office. Advertised complimentary breakfast was not available. I don't think the restaurant was open at all during our stay. The room was not cleaned during our stay. We had to go to... More

Decided to stay at Archers Mountain inn for our anniversary. Had purchased a voucher from living social for a decent rate. The inn is in a great location and not far from many attractions like beech and sugar mountains. Staff is very friendly. Check in was easy. I hesitated to give this inn a 4 but we enjoyed our time.... More

I booked the deal on LivingSocial and stayed Wednesday to Friday. The room I got was large with a little kitchen area. There weren't many amenities, the wifi only worked in the lobby, and you had to pay extra for the fireplace logs. The view was nice and I met some great people while I was there. Apparently November is... More

We spent 2 nights in the Presidential Suite. We walked in saw a massive fireplace in the room, A king size ornate bed and antique furnishings. We had a private porch with rocking chairs and a hammock. Staff was exceptional. Only drawback was the hotel was extremely close to the road and you can hear the traffic struggling to get... More

The place is under new management. Very nice people. Good country cooking in their restaurant. I especially like the squash and onions! The place needs updating but is clean and comfortable. There was a fireplace in our room!!

If you are looking for the rustic, mountain feel not far from attractions, this is it! The wood burning fireplace was wonderful and the breakfast that was included in the stay was awesome. The Inn was just purchased by new owners this summer and they are eager to improve and accommodate the guests. We were very pleased and will return!... More

My wife and I first stayed at this lovely log cabin-like inn more than two decades ago, with its idyllic mountain views three quarters of the way up Beech Mountain. This was when it was being hand-built by the Archer family. Since then it has undergone a few ownership changes with mixed results. There is a small restaurant (Jackalope's View)... More

My wife and I went up on a Fri. Because of a few bad reviews I wanted to see the room before plunking down a lot of money. I checked their on their website before we left home and the Presidential room was available. When we got there we were told no rooms were available. With tears in our eyes... More
