We are very impressed with the staff at this hotel. The breakfast was outstanding with a full house and they never ran out of food. The dining area was clean and homey. The small staff was able to attend to every detail. We had a wonderful trip and will be back to stay at the Banner Elk Best Western.

Excellent place with a very friendly staff, the surroundings are breath taking. Typical small town with not a lot to do, but if you love nature and tranquility this will be your gateway. The main attraction is the grandfather mountain and during fall seasons the different leaf colors are beautiful. The hotel was under construction so it means that in...

This is our third ski trip to Banner Elk and have stayed at the Best Western each year. The staff has been very accommodating, providing us with adjoining rooms with a connecting door. This is great since we had our grandchildren on the trip. The full breakfast is always a treat and is included with the room price. We will...

Great facility. The breakfast buffet was excellent and service was super, by Mary who cooked and also waited on the tables. The rooms were comfortable but the double beds were on the small size but staff brought in a roll away bed at no charge. Otherwise, everything was great.

Spent four nights here skiing Sugar Mountain. I absolutely loved this hotel and the convenience of it to the ski lodge Pros: Amazing location - you can see the slopes Comfortable Free Breakfast and wifi Super nice staff and housekeeping Cons: Tile walkways were super slippery, perhaps they need a runner carpet on them. Overall: The dinner buffet is really...

The staff is very professional. Rooms are clean and neat. The beds are one if the best I have ever slept in. Very comfortable! Location is great if you are snow skiing or visiting Hebron Colony Ministries.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean. I don't like hotels with outside doors but this one was an exception as it felt safe and secure. The girl that checked us in walked us to our room to ensure we were satisfied because of our concern that it was pet friendly (I have allergies). The breakfast...

The hotel was clean and the staff were all very friendly and breakfast was good. The beds could have been a little more comfortable; the mattress pad was uncomfortable and awkward. I was however, a little set back that they were clear that pets are not allowed. I was warned about the pet policy upon check-in, and I had to...

This is an older hotel, but nice for a rustic mountain lodge environment. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed free cups of coffee in front of the beautiful fireplace in the lobby. Very welcoming atmosphere to the area. The double beds were a bit small for us, but mattresses very comfortable.
