My wife and I spent our Valentines holiday in Banner Elk and stayed at The Banner Elk Inn, B&B and Cottages. The owner/hostess should get an award for her congeniality. Her breakfasts are superb. We even had a classical guitarist who played for the guests....More

Thank you! You are most gracious -- and it really was a wonderful weekend ! 14 inches of snow, 60% repeat guests, and a classical guitarist playing beautiful music at breakfast time. Life is good.

I think the inn is busy during the winter, so it might be difficult to book a room for a whole month. (You have to pay 50% at time of reservation, anyway, so don't worry about the payment part.) I agree with Joann B, you... More
I think the inn is busy during the winter, so it might be difficult to book a room for a whole month. (You have to pay 50% at time of reservation, anyway, so don't worry about the payment part.) I agree with Joann B, you may not be able to get breakfast if you have to get to the mountain early.
