Traveled to Inn because it was the old country club my husband's grandparents belonged to. They turned it into an Inn. Originally built as a boardinghouse in 1924 for the Alcoa Aluminum plant. Golf for guests was $15 and course was beautiful! We stayed in Maple Suite. Huge! Badin is about 1.25 hours from Charlotte.

My husband and I spent one night here after hiking at nearby Morrow Mountain. I didn't realize there would be a separate living room area (couch, tv, desk) that was separate from the bedroom so all the extra room was a nice surprise. Very comfortable bed, nice fluffy towels, and wifi worked great. The inn is obviously not brand new,...

This place is a true Southern gem! My husband and I held our small wedding at the Badin Inn after playing 18 holes on the golf course with family and friends. We also stayed the weekend in the Badin Suite. What a fabulous time we all had, and what a lovely Inn, golf course, and bar/restaurant! The staff and owners...

The Old Course has charm like no other! 1920's design, visit & enjoy! The course has the feel as if Scotland came to a small town! Visit nearby Morrow Mountain, lakes, make a weekend out of your trip!

I called this place in march to reserve a room for 8/29. I got married in this town on 8/29 and me and my wife stayed the night here. My wife's mother also paid for the night before (8/28) with her credit card for the same room. The price was supposed to be 85 bucks for both of us for...

Remember the t.v. show "Cheers"? Liked it, didn't you? Well then, you'll like the Badin Inn Golf Resort and Club restaurant or BIG (Badin Inn Golf). Don't know the first thing about the Inn, but the restaurant is so cool. There's a bar, complete with the usual crowd. If you go there often, you'll be part of that crowd and...

No, there were no bugs to complain of, it was quiet, the room was lovely. If you want a beautiful golf course, you will be disappointed. It is probably pretty nice looking when it is not brown, and if they erect signs to help you know where to go to the next tee box, it might be really nice. Throw...

We booked Badin Inn as a change from the city hotels we'd been staying in on our American road trip. Tranquil setting. We got to drive a golf buggy around the course which was a great way to spend the evening and ate dinner outside on the grounds. It is a old grand house and our room was spacious with...

We put relatives from out of state in this hotel and they LOVED it! This family of five with another child on the way got adjoining rooms with a nice view of the golf course. It is a step back in time yet has all the amenities of a new hotel. Badin is a sleepy little village that is rich...
