I would highly recommend this place! I have stayed at The Woodstock Inn on the Millstream three times and each time has been fantastic! Karen and her staff are friendly and always helpful. The rooms are very clean and there is a good variety of room sizes.

Beautiful little haven right next to the creek where local kids put on quite a diving show. Twin rooms comfortable, breakfast good but same everyday. Our friends in #1 next to road suffered traffic noise most of night - a surprise to all of us in this little village. 10 min walk to town, very convenient to bus stop but... More

Description and photos are very misleading. This is a motel. Very clean, but a motel on a sort of noisy back road. Coffee wasn't ready until 9, which I consider way too late. Not nearly sufficient tables and chairs to accommodate all the guests, who waited and waited for coffee and breakfast. We simply left the premises and went out... More

Thanks for writing in. We do offer a variety of rooms and amenities, since travelers have a variety of budgets and priorities. Many guests enjoy our breakfast from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m., but we do have coffee makers available for in-room use for those who want an earlier start. Simply ask the innkeeper. We hope you find your other... More

We came to visit the Hudson Valley and ride our motorcycles in the Catskills. Storm King Art Center and the mountains are worth visiting again. We ate at Red Onion and Cucina, both were excellent and we're foodies. We booked room 15 not realizing there was a difference in room size and amenities (and location on property, we were streamside)... More

Based on the lovely spa-tub photo on its website, I booked one night at The Woodstock Inn. When my husband and I arrived after a long travel day in the lovely Catskills, we opened the door to a drab postage-stamp sized room smelling of mold. The pint-sized bathroom (no tub, but a small shower!) had a floor that sagged dramatically... More

Sorry your stay was not what you expected. We do have a variety of rooms, of varying sizes and with different amenities. Each is featured individually on our web site. It seems you would have enjoyed a suite rather than the standard you booked. Please know if you ever have questions or concerns, contacting the innkeeper directly usually resolves the... More

I was excited about staying at the Millstream after reading reviews and looking at the website. The property is very nice - on the stream with a nice lawn and chairs. And you can walk to Woodstock village to eat. However, the room we had was small and dated. The website made it look better. There was an electric fireplace... More

Glad you appreciate our lovely setting right in the heart of Woodstock - which does remain a town that prides itself in its colorful tradition. People have such unique priorities, budgets and desires when traveling that we offer a variety of rooms and suites to accommodate them. Even food preferences differ - most guests truly enjoy our locally-sourced, fresh breakfast... More

The Inn is a great place to stay if you are spending a few nights in Woodstock. The setting is spectacular-right on the millstream. Breakfast is lovely (check out the amazing granola) although it would be great if you could get a cup of coffee before 9am. When I come back I'll bring my own water heater with me. The... More

When we first pulled up to this Inn, we weren't sure about the accommodations. However, our initial concerns quickly evaporated as we found the room, while quite small, to be clean and inviting. We stayed two nights and were impressed with the friendly innkeeper who encouraged us to explore the Farmer's Market (then going on) and other options in Woodstock.... More

Another reviewer said that this place is overpriced and I have to admit, it is. However, is it beautiful and amazingly well kept. The rooms are small, but super clean, with new towels and a comfortable bed, plus the shower has very good water pressure. The location is unbeatable, as it is walking distance from the town, and the staff... More

After a hectic fashion week schedule, my colleague and I were so happy to arrive at the Woodstock Inn. We just stayed one night (in room 9)... More
