Catherine and John Mason are wonderful hosts. They have a beautiful home, and the rooms are en suite, which offers privacy. A beautiful swimming pool on lush, peaceful grounds. Delicious breakfast and engaging conversation. Looking forward to returning when in Woodstock again.

We and our friends spent two nights at this great B&B right in Woodstock. Catherine and John are the owners, and we felt like they're our best friends by the end the weekend. Catherine is originally from France and she made us feel like we were in Provence, with great food for French-style breakfast and very warm hospitality. John is...

We had our honeymoon here and Catherine made it magical! Her graciousness, thoughtfulness and utterly welcoming and warm care for us just made it a honeymoon to cherish and remember for the rest of our lives. We stayed in the Moroccan room which suited us perfectly. All the mores because she allowed us, for a VERY small fee, to bring...

Catherine is on top of her b&b game. She and John will make you feel relaxed, comfortable and amazed. Amazed at the breakfast setting - blue, yellow, orange, red colors of Provence, food - authentic freshest pastries, breads, drinks, creps, berries, etc. the house - tastefully appointed, the service - you just think of something and Catherine is already offering, the cleanness...

We really enjoyed our mini vacation staying in the exotic Morocco Room at DeForest House. Our hosts offered the perfect blend of friendliness and discretion AND the most generous and delicious breakfast ever. The house is beautifully appointed and a joy to visit.

The house is beautiful with lots of outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy the views, with a very short ride (<5 minutes to town). The hosts, Catherine...

We loved this place! Catherine and John are the perfect hosts. They have only two rooms available but the rooms are perfect and beautiful. We had a giant picture window that looked onto acres of beautifully manicured lawn. The breakfast that Catherine makes is spectacular! A stunning array of fruits and yogurts and breads and pastries, and then she comes...

My husband and I stayed at DeForest to celebrate our 3rd anniversary and we couldn't have made better decision.
