Wonderful KOA. Lots of kid friendly events and activities. We stayed at the site P13, right near the wooden playground. The kids age 5 and 7 were able to walk to it while we unpacked and relaxed. We were very happy there.

This place is AaaHhhhmazing! Besides how great the layout and location are, the staff is very helpful and friendly. This campground is spotless, staff works tirelessly to keep it clean. There are many activities to keep every age busy. We are in a 26' travel trailer in a pull through site, there is more than enough room for our trailer,...

If you want to Cano but without roughing it too much (say, with a baby), this is a great choice. Between the pool, the hay ride, the easy hiking trail, the playground, the snack shack, etc, there is lots to keep the little ones occupied. It's also lovely to have bathrooms with running water. My only complaint is the highly...

We stayed 2 nights during a cold spell in June. When we arrived, the staff offered us the site next to our grandkids. This was much appreciated as the little ones were able to go from camper to camper much easier. Prices were fair, and in general, the campground was in good shape. We appreciated the level sites and the...

As far as KOA campgrounds go this was a very nice one. The sites are ample, at least for electric sites , for tenting is concerned. My son and I took our chances in late April, weather was cold but we were covered. Has a couple of playgrounds. Pool was closed for renovation (but it was too cold anyway), water...

There are a few nice winter hiking options close enough to the KOA Whiteface Mountain / Lake Placid to make this your base camp. Spend the day hiking and head back to your cozy cabin with heat! Keep it simple :) This KOA actually had a breakfast option $ right on site when we were there. Bathrooms were nice and...

We really enjoyed our stay at KOA Lake Placid during the President’s Day weekend. Great location, only a mile to the Whiteface ski resort and close to town of Lake Placid. Exceptionally clean cabins in a quiet setting. The hosts of the campground were very accommodating. Definitely will be back next ski season.
