We have been stay Ingrid at Wyadup Brook Cottages for at least one week every summer for 22 years, and I think it is about time that I share this Western Australian hospitality jewel with the rest of the world. The friendliest of hosts, Mark and Judy, ensure that Wyadup Brook Cottages are the perfect base for families and friends wanting to explore the beautiful south west capes area from Busselton to Augusta, although we usually restrict our daytime visits to nearby wineries, restaurants and exploring the beautiful wild coastline. (The famous Wyadup Spa is at the end of the same road.)
We usually stay at Pixie Mops, which is one of the larger cottages that comfortably accommodates 6 adults and a couple of kids. There are 6 well appointed cottages that are well stocked for a self-catering holiday, with fully equipped kitchens, comfortable beds, and sparklingly clean bathrooms that have excellent hot showers and a washing machine. Satellite TV channels and a DVD player provide their usual entertainment, but we find our days at Wyadup pass quickly with the traditional family fun of a shared jigsaw, board games or Mahjong.
The cottages are nestled beneath whispering peppermint trees and the pretty Wyadup Brook flows across the small paddock in front. Early mornings are a joy if you sit quietly with your cuppa on the outside patio. Soon you will see all the different bird families who call Wyadup home: splendid blue wrens, fan tails, ring necks, magpies, ravens, robins, kookaburras and many more. Cows stomp in the nearby paddocks, chooks forage up near Judy and Mark’s House/office (so keep your salad scraps for them) and old Tess, the farm dog gives everyone a friendly welcome. At night the skies are lit by the spectacular Milky Way which always astonishes this urban dweller accustomed to skies dimmed by city lights.
We love our annual holiday at Wyadup Brook Cottages. Mark and Judy work hard to ensure guests feel welcome and provide many friendly touches, such as home made chocolate chip biscuits, plenty of wood for the comforting log fire, beautiful linen on the beds and delicious cackleberries fresh from the hens who laid them. They are also full bottle on the best places to visit and can give advice on beautiful (secret) places to explore on the coast and which restaurants, wineries, breweries will suit your preferences.

We had an excellent time here. Log cabins on a property with peppermint trees and cattle, wood fire, self-contained and BBQ. Kids had a great time but we were out mostly - It’s so close to the beach, plus Yallingup, Dunsborough and an enjoyable drive everywhere else. Good base for all the sights and places to visit in the south west. The care takers were nice and check in/out was easy. Peaceful, relaxing place. Many thanks!

My partner booked this place by chance for our first trip with our young daughter. Very clean, comfortable cabin. We went down during a storm and the wood fire kept the place warm. We felt like we were miles away. Close to many of the popular wineries down south. Great service from the friendly staff. We will book again and told others about this accomodation.

Very comfortable beds, lovely lounges, away from traffic, and 10 min from yallingup, smiths beach, and several of the regions best wineries including windows estate and house of cards. Reasonably priced. We'll be happy to stay there again and to recommend it to family and friends.

We stayed at Wyadup Brook Cottages for the final 2 nights of our Cape to Cape hike. The owners could not have been more accomodating - allowing us to drop off our luggage prior to starting our days hike and then on the final day picking it up after we completed the walk. The accomodation is gorgeous - spacious and the beds are really comfortable. The location is not beach side - instead you are on a farming property that is quiet and within a short drive to the beach. I highly recommend a stay ... they are walking distance from the closest winery!

We would highly recommend these Cottages. Judy was very helpful in offering age-appropriate 'walking' advice to our group of 9 - which included 6 teenagers. Fantastic location, friendly hosts and lovely clean accommodation. We will definitely be returning.

We booked a two room chalet for 3 adults and one child. Chalet was very comfortable, with main bedroom on ground floor and 4 singles on mezzanine floor. The hosts were great with our grandchild - fed chooks and experienced cows up close and personal. Close to Injidup beach and natural spa.

Judy and Mark thoroughly looked after us again with great accommodation in Pixie Mops for two families, animal feeding for the kids and plenty of logs to stoke up the fire on those cooler evenings. Great time had by all......thank you

thanks to Judy, the owner, for such a good place. the site contains 6 cottages. all of them are reasonably clean. we have occupied 3 out of the 6 cottages. we had kids aging from 6 months till year 8 in high school. all of them enjoyed the location. all the adults enjoyed the stay, as well. best fresh farm eggs you can ever have. we had the opportunity to meet and feed Rebecca, 31 years old pony. also, in their farm, they let our kids feed their calves and chickens.
the only down side for me was that they didn't allow my dog. however, this is their rule.
definitely we recommend and we will come back again.

My friend and I stayed here as we were doing the Cape to Cape walk. The lunch they provided was very tasty and they even catered for Gluten free. Really tasty ANZAC biscuits. Clean accommodation and well equipped kitchen.
