Wow what an amazing serene location Wildwood Valley is! We stayed in the Honeybee Cottage and it had everything we could have asked for. The view to the valley and further to the ocean was spectacular. The kitchenette was stocked with everything we needed, a super comfy bed, huge bathroom and wood fire. We also did the cooking school Taste of Tuscany which was beyond amazing. The chef Sioban was so great to learn from and such a wonderful host. She made us feel like we were part of the family staying at her family home. Wildwood Valley is so central to everything with so many wineries within 5 minutes. We will be back!

We had a wonderful time staying in Butterfly cottage. The cottage was very clean and came with everything you might need for a comfortable and convenient stay. A supply of all the basics (toilet paper, coffee/tea/sugar, oil, salt/pepper etc) was very handy to have so we didn't have to cart it from home or buy. The view from the cottage is gorgeous and sitting out on the deck admiring the view and visits from the kangaroos and blue wrens was a highlight. The location is amazing with lots of great wineries, breweries etc just a few minutes drive away. Dunsborough is only 10 mins away for shopping. The owner provided a shower chair for my elderly mother which was greatly apprecaited. Thank you Siobhan for a great stay. We will be back!

The views from our cottage was stunning and the kangaroos are so cute to look at! The cottage is well designed with loads of room to spread out and the kitchen is very well equipped. The fireplace added that touch of coziness to the cottage which we all love especially on a cold night. The cottage was very clean and the beds were very comfortable to sleep in. Separate heaters were also provided in each room. The location was great and easy to get to Dunsborough and Margaret River. Booking was straightforward and communications were responsive.
I highly recommend staying here! Will be back for sure!

What a lovely location! Nestled on a private property Wildwood is also close to a lot of gorgeous wineries and breweries. The glimpse to the sea from our balcony at the Honeybee cottage was a plus! Clean with a comfortable bed and sofa and a kitchenette and a two person bath with glorious views is very special. The many birds and kangaroos that can be seen is another plus! It was hard to leave!

We were lucky enough to be able to stay at Wildwood Valley for 2 nights in the Butterfly cottage and were impressed by the spacious layout, and the quality fittings and linens supplied to us. It was lovely to wake up to the sound of kookaburras and see the kangaroos and blue wrens from the balcony as we cooked our breakfast on the barbecue. The booking and communication was friendly and professional and we were only sorry we could not stay longer.

We have been going down to Wildwood Valley Cottages for the last 4 years (during winter) and absolutely love it there, its very tranquil, with log fires at night, and all the amenities for a self contained unit (bath, shower, loo and kitchenette), all you need to bring is your food and wine. It is always spotless and no one bothers you so you are free to go for a walk and / or visit the local area. We normally select the Honeybee cottage which is a single studio beautifully maintained cottage, however if you are going to have friends or family the other cottages are larger with more bedrooms. Like we said, why would you go anywhere else, we just love it there!!

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights in the Honeybee Cottage at Wildwood Valley. It is beautiful accommodation, extremely well appointed, with all that you need for a relaxing, romantic mini get away. The views from the balcony are fantastic, matched only by the wonderful self-contained accommodation.

There are only 4 cottages on the premises, providing plenty of seclusion and privacy. The location is excellent too, close to nearby wineries, and a recently opened craft brewery less than a kilometer away.

We also took the opportunity to book the on site half day cooking class, we went for the Taste of Tuscany experience, and it was a wonderful way to enjoy the day. Plenty of laughs, amazing food, great wine, and we also learnt a few tips and tricks along the way.

You wont be disappointed with a stay at Wildwood cottages, and if you can manage to also book one of the cooking classes (they book out very quickly) you will definitely enjoy the experience.

Will be doing this again next year, it was fabulous.

We booked well in advance to secure the Honeybee cabin and were not disappointed, it is exactly as the photos show.
Even though you are not isolated you feel like you are alone especially when sitting on the balcony overlooking the valley, just magical!

Unfortunately we arrived after the fire bans were in action so although the weather was wet and cold we were unable to use the log burner - I would come again just to be able to sit in front of the fire on a cold day.

The cabin has all you need as far as cooking utensils and bathroom amenities, the bed is comfortable and has electric blankets which was a bonus for us.

I would have happily paid for a basic breakfast hamper (bread, butter, jam and fruit) rather than having to bring everything with us if that was on offer next time we came to stay!

4 night stay. Couple. April 2023. Butterfly Cottage. Main bed with ensuite.
We had an Ideal week staying in the Butterfly cottage overlooking the paddocks and bush to the Ocean in the distance. The cabin was ideal for the week with everything we needed. The cabin is very spacious with PLENTY of room in the lounge, dining, kitchen and veranda. We only required the main bed with ensuite. It would easily accomodate a whole family with the extra bed & bath rooms. We had really nice weather so didn't require the airconditioning (April is total fire ban season so no log fire).
We spent most evenings watching the animals in the adjoining paddock. It's the end of summer so the paddocks are dry this time of the year. The sheep came up a few times during the day and evening. A few kangaroos visiting with one mum and joey regularly turning up each evening. And we had an assortment of birdlife visiting daily with the regular wrens and cockatoos being constant visitors
Wildwood Valley was an excellent location for visiting the South West region. It is secluded enough without being far from all the scenery, tourist attractions and major towns.
The main house and other cabins are within sight but are spaced around the property to maintain a feeling of privacy.
Had good internet, mobile phone, wifi with no problems (Telstra)
Watch carefully for the entrance sign when driving to the property
( I missed it a few times doing 80kmh on Wildwood Rd )
And it was well priced.
Will happily stay again next time we head South

Booked through Booking.com who kept sending me multiple copies of messages which sent me crazy ???

Spent three nights at the property. Was very clean, beds extremely comfortable, and loved the linen and towels. All over, quality accomodation and a lovely place to stay.

The only disappointing factor was that the chalet is rented out at a per room rate not a total cost for the entire chalet. As we were two friends travelling together, and not a couple, we were required to pay an additional $80 per night for a second bed.
