The park is shaded by peppermint trees and backs on to the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park. A typical day here includes waking up to the sounds of the bush, getting a coffee across the road at Andy’s, strolling down to the beach, exploring the Margaret River wine region and finishing it all off by the fire in our new camp kitchen. It has been too long without the fair fellow of the park david. I crave his smooth creamy voice very much ever since he has left. If I had the choice i would let dave turn down my music at 10. Please consider bringing the man back.

We stayed with family for 7 nights last week in the chalets. The Caves caravan park is in a good position, handy for visiting wineries etc. Pub over the road, plus a good bakery and general store. Lots to do for children in park, which was good. Good cooking facilities set up for all to use, microwaves, toasters etc. Friendly helpful staff. BUT.. the chalets because of no air con where dreadful. They were extremely hot. None of the family wanted to return to them, too hot between 2pm to 7pm they were at there hottest There were two overhead fans, one in lounge and one in one bedroom. The other bedroom had nothing only a small window . We assumed ( wrong!) there would be air con, our fault for not checking yes. We have never stayed in chalets that had no air con. it is now 2021, WA can get hot summers. Yes it was a hot week, but on a couple of days cooled down but still needed air con. Our two chalets had very little shade from trees. Chalets old now, time for a revamp but first priority air con is a MUST.

Thanks for your kind feedback about our staff and facilities Kanga60. I am sorry to hear that you weren't aware that our chalets do not have airconditoners. With the generally cool nights we enjoy in Yallingup, our's like many other accommodation options in the area have not required cooling, aside from a few nights of the year. However, as a result of this particularly hot summer we are planning to install air-conditioning ahead of the next summer period to ensure a comfortable stay for our guests in any weather. I hope you give us a chance again in the future. All the best.

This was our second stay in less than three months. On this occasion we stayed in a chalet which was spotless and had everything you needed. The park is in a wonderful setting and really Well maintained. The owners are putting in a huge amount of effort into making the gardens inviting and water wise. Have already booked for next school holidays!

Just stayed the one night in our hired camper van on a powered site, but had a great stay. The lady on reception was super friendly and helpful, she gave us a choice of a couple of different sites to pick from. Bathrooms were individual rooms with toilet, shower and vanity. Very clean and well maintained facilities and gardens. Lovely to walk across the road to Caves House and down to beach. Didn't get a chance to try out the bakery - next time!! Dog friendly! Would have loved to stay longer!

I have given these guys a 4 for the friendly staff, great facilities and location. This is deserved and what I am about to write is only suggestions on improvement. Glamping. We have done a bit of this and up until now the experience was fantastic. Outside with nature, without the set-up and carry all the gear. Unfortunately or tent came with very little. We did have a kettle with tea and coffee making facilities but no spoons. A camp cooker but no pans or utensils. No plates knifes and forks for the communal camp kitchen. No extra blankets for the colder nights. Towels were provided but nothing to hang them on. Table and chairs not fit to sit on. A camp fire with no wood. No parking area, site too small. Plus site too small for table to sit at, so table set up inside tent. Fridge was not turned on so warm to start with. Tent internally has no storage. The only glamorous thing was the bed but that also was just an ensemble with no bed head.plus not so comfortable. $200.00 a night is a bit rich after our other experiences. So I do not recommend the glamping unless some changes are made.

Hi Rachel Thanks for your review and kind feedback about our staff and facilities. We am sorry to hear that the facilities within the glamping tent itself were not up to your expectations. We love to receive honest feedback from our guests as it helps us to continually improve our park. We have recently upgraded our tent to a brand new emperor bell tent and have now added some new additions to the tent and surrounding site which will hopefully address your feedback and make the glamping experience even better. The tent also comes with a heater for those cooler nights and complementary firewood on request during the fire season (sorry we failed to mention this to you on check in). We hope you will give us another chance in the future as we'd love to have you stay with us again :)
