We greatly enjoyed our stays at the Sienna Estate last year (25/10 to 27/10 and 8/11 to 10/11), and Egis made us feel very welcome on both occasions. Our cozy little French room was perfect, including the room layout, the amenities and cleanliness. We took advantage of being able to walk over to the Barnyard1978 every morning where they served up a mouthwatering breakfast matched with a friendly service and The Lavender tea rooms is also next door and We highly recommend trying their scones.
We can’t wait to return again in the future. Cheers, George Perkins & Ni Nyoman Ayu Sagita Mentari.

Stayed for 2 nights in April 2024 at Sienna Lodge. Two couples with a room each. Location was great just up the road from Smiths beach and Canal Rocks.
We had the rooms at the rear of the property overlooking the gardens. Checking in was very smooth and the owners were a pleasure to speak to. Rooms were both a good size with big comfortable beds. All facilities were exceptional, and the room was very clean. Good pressure in the shower. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay for 2 nights and will definitely visit again.

If you plan on sleeping good luck. The building its self is timber framed, which means every time the person above goes to the toilet, gets out of bed, opens/close a door you will hear it. I could not sleep and was woken often. I advised the owner and their answer was they will talk to the above residences which made no difference. As a result of this I left my companion and travelled back to the city 2 nights earlier than check out. Room is clean, couch sags. When you go to the reception there is no face to face contact it is a letter with your name on it and key to the room – not saying that is a negative. This whole experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth much like the tap water in the room. I will not be returning or recommending.

The room was clean and appointed as described. The bottle of wine was a nice touch and communication online was prompt and pleasant, but we were disappointed that we did not get to see any reception staff or the owner once while staying there. The house has very thin walls and we were woken in the middle of the night by an alarm next door and then again at 6 am by loud music playing. Had to knock on the door for it to stop, which it did. Also, breakfast places next door don't open till 9.30 am and 10 am.

At first sight we were less than impressed. It seemed too remote and looked run down. The restaurant not functioning and not much life. However, once we entered the large room with all the amenities you could want bathed in light and a bed to die for we felt right at home. The room was rustic and charming, quiet with a very nice outlook. A walk around the grounds of this functioning boutique winery was very relaxing and added very much to the charm of this Italian owned establishment. Mobile service existed but data services only worked when I stepped outside. For some this may be an issue but this disadvantage was quickly replaced Witt he knowledge that a beautiful coastline vista was only a minutes drive up the road.

We had the loft apartment - it was spotlessly clean, but I would say the accommodation, on the whole, was very tired.
Pluses:
I met one of the cleaning staff who was incredibly friendly and polite.
A complimentary bottle of wine in the fridge was a nice gesture.
Minuses:
Kitchen: The pine kitchen had the lacquer peeling off it. Microwave in the kitchen cupboard - had to be lifted onto the counter to use it. The kitchen is very, very tired.
Drinking Water: The bore water is unpleasant and they did have a bottle of filtered water in the fridge - would be good if there were at least 2 bottles, however, the room is only serviced every 2nd day. Filtered water should be topped up each day.
Internet: There is supposed to be high-speed internet - not true - was the worst wifi I've ever experienced. With 2 people you could only have 2 devices connected at a time or an error displayed and had to disconnect. There was no mobile reception (Vodafone & Optus) so unable to use my own data download. I often work as I travel - luckily I didn't have any work this trip or I would have been in big trouble.
Bed: The Queen bed was comfortable but there were only 2 pillows on the bed with 1 spare found in the cupboard - there should be 4 pillows minimum. There was a TV but it wasn't positioned high enough to watch in bed. The only other option is from the sofa on the other side of the room.
All in all, disappointing.

Had a good time in this hotel where I spent 2 nights! The place is very nice, quiet and peaceful. In the middle of a vineyard and a bee farm, I loved it!
The owners are very nice and helpful. Thus I would really recommend this place to stay.
To note: bad wifi

First things first Sienna Lodge couldn’t be better located to travel around some of the finest wineries in the north of Margaret River. Situated just off Caves Road you are only a few minutes away from some of the finest wines in the region.

Sienna Lodge is adjacent to the Barnyard Winery and set in very tranquil gardens. However the accommodation is looking a little tired. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms which was “cosy”. We were on the ground floor so it was quite dark and could have done with some extra lighting.

The kitchenette was adequate but dated and could do with modernising at very little additional cost. All the things one needed to prepare a meal were there so cooking your own food is doable.

Finally the every other day service was basic to say the least - straightening the duvet emptying the rubbish but nothing else. Our expectations were a little higher but this appeared to be the standard.

This is a charming place and a good place to explore the area. Lovely beaches, Dunsborough just a short drive away.

Sienna Lodge did not detract from our visit we just think that with a little TCL the place could be so much better.

This is set in idyllic country and a wonderful place to explore the area.
I had a very large room, with ensuite bathroom and a complementary bottle of estate wine.
Egas was a really friendly host.

The only reason this is not a 5 star rating was just that, given the price for the room, there is no breakfast provided. Apart from that, recommend :)

Hi - is there a lounge or quiet seating area to relax in outside of your room? Thanks

Yes. Our room had a verandah with small round table and chairs overlooking the garden area. There are also some other tables and chairs scattered around the garden area.
