We were very happy with our time at Seashells. We were lucky enough to secure a pay 2 stay 3 deal which made it quite good value. Our one bedroom apartment was enormous with a large lounge, bedroom (with TV) and bathroom with spa bath. The kitchen included a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Lovely balcony area overlooking trees with lots of bird sound. With everything you need you could easily stay here for a prolonged period. There is a lift to apartments on the upper floors, and a ramp to wheel cases from the car park. Caves House next door is nice for a drink and meal (pricey). The Lamont's gourmet breakfast hamper that we ordered before our stay ($60) contained enough food for breakfast on all three of our mornings there and it was beautiful, local, great quality food. After hours check in was straight forward and very well communicated to us. Reception staff were lovely. We would highly recommend a stay at this lovely establishment.

Stayed 4 nights in early January during our travels round the Margaret river region. Lovely place in an ideal Location for the beach and all local attractions. Very clean and lovely staff. All the usual amenities in the room, fridge, washer and dryer, all used with no problems. One tip is, take some Nespresso pods and tea bags if you need them because they cost a fortune in the general store outside. We had a ground floor apartment with terrace on to the garden. Got a bit noisy early evening with kids playing games on the grass while parents had a drink in the Caves house bar next door but that wasn't a problem. Very handy for food in the Caves house bar which was very good at a reasonable price. Always live music on but usually just a guy on a guitar and wasn't on to late, couldn't hear it from the room. Birds are a bit noisy at times but with the door closed you can't hear them. One problem when we left was money taken from my card by the hotel when I left but after contacting them they realised the mistake and put it back straight away. If we are down that way again will deffo visit again.

Stayed here for 1 night to shelter from possible cyclone that hit the area as my home is old and has lots of trees around so decided to evacuate to play safe. Well the Seashells resort was the perfect place to be as it is solid as a rock and we'll maintained and I was able to watch the ensuing wild weather from the comfort of my deluxe room through the huge glass doors, noise not a problem as it seemed very soundproof. The facilities in the room are fantastic with new appliances and recent renovation gave the room a brand new look,I believe the complex is near 12 years old but you wouldn't think so. A huge bonus was the "free" on demand movies which have new releases that you still pay for at other hotel chains and streaming services The location is also ideal with stunning gardens to wander around, easy 15 min walk to the beach and the iconic Caves hotel right next door for a meal and a pint(unfortunately not open at moment due to covid19) I would recommend Seashells Yallingup for any occasion.

We had three nights here in February '20. The accomodation is modern and to a very high standard with large rooms including living / dining, bedroom with large comfortable bed, bathroom with shower and bath, veranda with table and six chairs, galley kitchen with fridge, combo microwave, double hob, toaster and kettle, a good range of crockery and cutlery, dishwasher. Separate laundry in the room with washer and drier. Air-conditioning plus a fan in bedroom. TV in the lounge and bedroom (both Smart) with movies on demand, and great movies too. Wi-Fi for up to 5 devices, however, the speed is extremely slow @ 2.94Mbps / .53 which considering how we rely on online for banking, confirming onward bookings and reserching routes and attractions, this was unacceptable. Then on the last morning we woke up to the Wi-Fi access removed before we left. There is plenty of parking and wonderful views from the veranda over the bush. The birdlife is spectacular and there is a beautiful garden behind to wander through. There are BBQ facilities in the garden and you can walk all the way to Yallingup beach through the garden. There is little around the hotel other than a small store and café, so we tended to drive to Dunsborough (10 minutes away) where there was a Coles plus others.

Hi NAS1954 Thank you for reviewing our apartments, your feedback is very welcome. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and found the apartment to be modern and well equipped. We do offer free of charge WiFi, however, when we are fully booked and our guest are logged on, it does tend to slow down the connection. Overall we do hope that this did not impact upon your stay with us, and hope that we can welcome you back to Seashells Yallingup in the future. Kind Regards, Naomi Kurashima Property Manager

We decided to get out of Perth for a few days. We always wanted to stay at the Seashells in Yallingup as we frequently visit the area from Perth. Booking was easy; the staff were excellent, and we checked in quickly and easily on arrival. We stayed in a one-bed unit. My first impressions were WOW, lovely and clean, as well as significant space and roomy, leading onto a balcony with great views. With the Caves Hotel next door, you have everything in one place if you want to have a few drinks and a meal. I would recommend Seashells to anyone that appreciates a good clean environment to relax.

We stayed here for a long weekend between Christmas and New Year. The location and setting of the hotel is lovely, and the gardens are beautiful. The hotel is nice, and the family room that we had was very spacious and clean, if a little dated. The terrace we had was lovely, and sitting out there eating breakfast each morning was great. There were nice little touches like powder for the dishwasher and liquid for the washing machine being included. Although there were on-demand movies available, we struggled together these to work due to an apparent broadband issue in the area. That said, you don’t go there to watch films. It is a 10 min walk down to Yallingup beach which is lovely, or a 15min walk to Smiths beach. There are a few marked trails locally as well which are great for walking of running. Our room was located right next to the Caves Hotel bar area which wasn’t an issue most of the time, but there is normally a live band playing in the evening and lots of people there, so don’t expect to much of an early night if you are a light sleeper. Overall though, I loved Yallingup and would stay here again in the future.

Arrived to a beautiful, clean apartment, lovely views out to the garden and Caves House.. Loved the location of the room, 309. Lots of local walks, wineries and close to Dunsborough, Busselton, Margaret River and many galleries.. The accommodation has dishwasher, cooking facilities, bath as well as a shower, separate bedroom to lounge and kitchen ... Nice and relaxing

We had a wonderful 2 nights at this property. The 1 bed apartment was very tastefully decorated and a good size. When we reached for the wine glass', they were filthy. After investigating the dishwasher - the filter looks as though it had never been cleaned. It was full of slime and whatever else. I scrubbed it in the sink with dishwashing liquid and hot water then replace it. We put our dishes (with glass') through that night and it was perfect. As we left the room we put the entire glass' through a cycle. So maybe the staff should be reminded to clean the filter of the dish washer in their routine. Other than that disappointing discovery, all was wonderful.

We arrived at the lovely seashells apartments. However there was an unfortunate problem in our apartment which meant it was not suitable for us to stay in. We reported this to the receptionist Jackie who was immediately very apologetic and understanding. As she could not rectify the problem immediately and all the other apartments were fully booked she contacted the owner. They offered us a choice of alternative accomodation which was more expensive and they covered the additional cost. Jackie even helped us take our cases to the car. We were very impressed with her level of customer service and how the problem was solved. The apartment itself was lovely and we would definitely go back in the future and recommend seashells as we have stayed in other seashells accomodation before.

The apartments here are again very spacious and the whole development looks very modern. We had an apartment furthest from the main hotel and so benefitted from not having too much of the early evening noise that passes for music in these parts! There was an easy walk to the local beach through the woods and so we availed ourselves of this. The local wildlife comes awake at dusk and again just sitting on our balcony was pleasing to just listen to their songs and enjoy a chilled glass. The drive to Margaret River was not too long but I do now realise it is not really the town you want but more the region. We elected however to visit The Dolphin discovery Centre in Banbury which turned out to be a much better option. It turns out Yallingup is very much geared for the surfing community so there was little to attract us in town but we did not suffer for that having various other regions to visit.
