Spend another 4 days at Che Che Sara in May. Love coming back to the peace of this place. We rested, canoed using the free gear and just enjoyed the quiet. Great new additions since our last stay are the bbq and reverse cycle air-con, which will be lovely for those who visit them m the summer. We even bought some lovely eggs laid by the local chooks :) Cabins still cost and well equipped. Only thing we missed this time were the resident wandering cows but the caretakers mentioned that new ones will be coming soon. We will no doubt be back :)

Just 4 cottages, well spaced out and containing all you need for a restful holiday in the forest along the banks of the Frankland River. We had Bobalup cottage, the largest, sleeping 8 so perfect for 3 generations holidaying together. Beds were comfy and all was sparkling clean. Furnishings were country style comfort. The big verandah overlooked the canoe launching spot, and we had a few paddles along the river. Kids enjoyed taking the food scraps to the chickens every day, and enjoyed the freedom to explore the area. Apart from the bitey March (January) flies, this was a great spot to spend some quality time together. Phone and wifi are limited, but hey that meant we were off our screens and into nature. Walpole is not far away if you need to connect. Thanks to the hosts for their friendly help.

I love this little piece of paradise in the Walpole bush. 2nd visit in 5 years and still a lovely place to stay. We walked the trails, kayaked in the sprinkling rain, hung out with the cows and just enjoyed the peace. Hosts were very accommodating as we arrived much later than expected due to some unforeseen circumstances. Property is always pristine and quiet. Must visit in summer sometime so we swim and use the bbqs. We will be back :)

Wow!! This place is just amazing!!!!! We only stayed the one night but wish we had stayed 2 or longer We were right next to the river, bush land everywhere, quiet and so peaceful The tree top walk is not far and a really nice winery just up the road Pack a picnic and some wine and sit by the river on the big flat rocks The rooms were clean and inviting, comfy beds and noisy possums at night Pru and her daughter (owners) are very accommodating and so friendly Highly recommend more than one night here

Contrary to the review before mine, could not love this place more, especially as a dog owner. This is not 5 star with high speed wifi, but 5 stars for tranquility, warmth, welcome and beauty. I wont repeat the comprehensive & accurate descriptions below. You do not go here to sit on media, but to walk the forest trails, sit around a fire (when safe), observe the wrens from your verandah looking to the river, frolic on the granite outcrops between cascading river pools, visit the hens and cattle. The host Prue could not be warmer & more helpful. The cottages are spotlessly clean, have modern aircon & wood fires & good mattresses. You feel very snug, private and secure in this secluded enclave in tbe crook of the river. Some Telstra reception can be gotten by taking a beautiful stroll up the hill. Best of all, your dog can be kennelled on site if you wish to partake of the nearby parks or go on the fabulous WOW Wilderness Boat Tour. Always hoping to get back.
