Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The river and bush around the cabins here is amazing!! So many beautiful tingle trees filled with lovely birds. Prue and her daughter Erica were friendly and helpful. Such a great place to disconnect from technology and reconnect with nature.

The most incredible experience! We can’t wait to go back again as we all had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful, if you love nature this is the place to stay. We had such a comfortable sleep and the host was lovely. This property has a river frontage which is where we went to sit and have our morning coffee and watch the water flow by. Quiet, relaxing, and have recommended to all of our friends.

In all my years, this must’ve been the worst place I’ve ever stayed. At arrival the lady was nice at reception.unfortunately her husband was not so nice. he tried talking money out of my account even though the room had been paid for. kept saying we had to pay again because the internet was down and he hadn’t got the money and it was my problem to fix.but the room had been paid for two weeks before and i showed him a receipt from booking.com and email from the accommodation. Still wasn’t good enough he was so rude and bit creepy coming back to the room all the time. After a few hours we had got it sorted.they also don’t give you a key so you can’t lock room .Great time to relax hopefully he stays away for the rest of the time it can’t get any worse haha. Room not cleaned the best but at least the sheets are clean. Then about to cook dinner on the stove and it falls on my two year old luckily there was nothing hot on top or he would have been burnt.couldn’t wait to leave

Such a beautiful spot! The perfect bit of paradise to escape, relax and immerse yourself in the encompassing nature. The chalets were clean, tidy and well appointed with everything you would need. Everything worked well and the beds were comfy. We stayed with our 2 dogs which was fantastic that Che Sara Sara allowed dogs. Dog kennels are also available which is fantastic. We walked the tracks, went down on the rocks at the river, didn’t go canoeing but could have if we wanted. The dogs and us loved it! It is very close to Walpole, beaches, Valley of the Giants and many more wonderful places to see and visit. The people running the place could not have been more friendly and helpful. Lovely people. We will definitely be back, maybe in winter next time. Already there in my head. To quote Darryl Kerrigan “ Pure Serenity “!

Had been here a few times, organised stays for groups of friends. This was the first time staying in winter and the experience was special. The Frankland River which hugged the property part way was full and most of the peaceful rocky area was submerged. Prue made us very welcome, starting from when we made the reservations, to the care and concern over the comfort and safety of our large group. We paddled the canoes made available for guests. The facilities in the chalets were adequate. We used the campfire as well. We made a few complaints and Prue wanted us to write them down which assured me that the issues would be addressed. I'm already planning for our next stay!

Spend another 4 days at Che Che Sara in May. Love coming back to the peace of this place. We rested, canoed using the free gear and just enjoyed the quiet. Great new additions since our last stay are the bbq and reverse cycle air-con, which will be lovely for those who visit them m the summer. We even bought some lovely eggs laid by the local chooks :) Cabins still cost and well equipped. Only thing we missed this time were the resident wandering cows but the caretakers mentioned that new ones will be coming soon. We will no doubt be back :)

Just 4 cottages, well spaced out and containing all you need for a restful holiday in the forest along the banks of the Frankland River. We had Bobalup cottage, the largest, sleeping 8 so perfect for 3 generations holidaying together. Beds were comfy and all was sparkling clean. Furnishings were country style comfort. The big verandah overlooked the canoe launching spot, and we had a few paddles along the river. Kids enjoyed taking the food scraps to the chickens every day, and enjoyed the freedom to explore the area. Apart from the bitey March (January) flies, this was a great spot to spend some quality time together. Phone and wifi are limited, but hey that meant we were off our screens and into nature. Walpole is not far away if you need to connect. Thanks to the hosts for their friendly help.

I love this little piece of paradise in the Walpole bush. 2nd visit in 5 years and still a lovely place to stay. We walked the trails, kayaked in the sprinkling rain, hung out with the cows and just enjoyed the peace. Hosts were very accommodating as we arrived much later than expected due to some unforeseen circumstances. Property is always pristine and quiet. Must visit in summer sometime so we swim and use the bbqs. We will be back :)
