Additionally, I noticed that the facilities could be improved by providing some basic essentials like sugar, salt, and pepper. These are simple items that can make a big difference in enhancing the overall experience for guests. Having these on hand would add a thoughtful touch to the amenities provided.
While the location has its positives, these small details can significantly impact the overall value and guest satisfaction. I hope these points can be taken into consideration for improvement in the future.
The view was absolutely sensational and one of the highlights of our stay. The room was clean and well-maintained, which we appreciated. However, a few additional toiletries would have been a nice touch to enhance convenience for guests.
It would also be great if there were facilities available for washing boats, even something as simple as a station to flush out motors. This would be a fantastic addition for guests who bring their boats along.
Overall, while the experience was positive, these small improvements could make it even better.
Unfortunately we got the impression that we were not really welcome anytime we interacted with the office person. On one occasion I went into the small shop to buy bread as a sign outside indicated they sold bread, only to be told that they only have bread when they go into town for it - but it is frozen and there is loads of freezer space! Appeared they couldn't be bothered with this amongst other things....
Comments on a FaceBook camping site had mentioned that it had gone downhill from what it was....
Before asking about the accomodation I asked if I could pay for my daughter to bounce on the bouncy pillow for 10 minutes (as visitors must pay to bounce as was written on the sign).
The lady in the office proceeded to give me a lecture on Covid check in which I did do and then spoke to me very rudely and refused to let my daughter bounce. Let me make it clear,
it was not that my daughter was not allowed to bounce on the pillow but the way the lady spoke to me in front of my daughter that is so disappointing and I would implore this lady to choose respect and kindness in her dealings with people in future.
I find it hard to believe that people think this is how to run a business. This rudeness has cost a booking for approximately 20 people this year and future bookings.
Ironically. I was warned by my friend staying at the park that the lady that booked her in was very grumpy.
My daughter too, has unfortunately learnt a lesson - don’t follow the rules on the sign just go ahead and do it!
We stayed in 2 bed room self contained unit, all facility were provided and very roomy.
Roads inside facility very rough requires maintenance.
Staff were really friendly and helpful. We will be back for sure
