Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a brilliant Caravan park. Great and clean amenities, close with nature, lovely staff and loads of fun in the games room. So easy to communicate with throughout the booking process. Staff were all lovely. Yummy pancakes cooked up on Easter morning for all the guests.

The park is amazing, so peaceful. Each site is among peppermint trees ... we really felt so relaxed ... and felt private as well. The amenities are also very clean. We cycled and kayaked straight from the park, so a great location for both of those activities as well.

This is a lovely quiet park around 4kms by road from Walpole. It is a bush type park in a lovely bush setting. Birds and kangaroos are regular visitors. You walk out of the park down some stairs onto Coalmine Beach. There is a basic camp kitchen. Amenities are probably some of the cleanest we’ve seen this trip. Definitely recommend.

Stayed in the Caravan park here. Nice shady sites in a bush setting, only metres from the beach. Amenities old but clean, office staff friendly and helpful. The walk (which can also be driven) to the headland cam be done straight from the holiday park and is a must do.

Absolutely love Coalmine Beach Caravan Park. Love staying in this natural park so much better than being in rows butted up to the van next to you. Love hearing kids having good old fashioned fun. Ablutions are kept really clean and they are always working around making sure everything is right. Staff are really lovely and very approachable. Close to the inlet but very protected from the wind. We loved the walk from the park across the wetland to town. Stayed here twice now and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Lovely spot for camping with big, shaded pitches for tents and great facilities. Right next to the beach and loads of wildlife around the place to remind you that you're right in the middle of nature. Great customer service as well and really easy to book. Would highly recommend.

Don’t miss Walpole! Beautiful place lovely people!Great little bush caravan park situated on the beach with lots of ambience! Site was provided to suit our larger van! Lovely spot amongst the trees! Though beach windy, very sheltered in the park. Staff lovely & very accommodating! Don’t miss a drive through the bush opposite park turnoff (on main Hwy) Don’t miss WOW Ecotour with Gazza! We stayed in a glamping tent and it was fabulous - very comfortable, spacious and fun. The site was quiet while we were there so we had the camp kitchen to ourselves and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The grounds are lovely and you really can see kangaroos, kookaburras and fairy wrens. The location next to the national park is excellent. The staff were very welcoming when we arrived. We were impressed - highly recommend.
