We stayed at Karma resort lodge for 2 nights in a twin room. I was worried after reading bad reviews on TripAdvisor as we had booked a standard room and didn't expect much. I must say the room was basic and a little tired but far better than expected. The bathroom was good and shower fine with ok water pressure....

Went to see the island left Perth by train to Freemantle and then by boat to the island. Hired some bicycles and travelled around the island A great experience. Some great wildlife along the way. Would love to spend a week there, but sadly have to go home.

Stayed at the Karma Lodge, didn't expect too much having gone through a lot of reviews, the rooms were very basic to say the least, but again had read most of the accommodations where similar. The plus was a pool, and games set up for the kids around the hotel. The staff were helpful, breakfast was good part of our stay....

Reading reviews for the Rottnest Lodge before we left, left us a little uncertain of what to expect however didn't bother us too much. What I can say though was that it was much better than expected. I think a reason for some not so good reviews is that people may expect more of a 'resort' as it is Karma...

I wanted a short break at the end of my school holidays so decided to book a few nights at the Lodge. We have been going to Rotto for many years and while we have stayed at the Lodge before this is the first time it wasn't for a wedding or conference. I booked late so could only get a...

The QUOD has a very sad history as an Aboriginal prison where many people died. I hope this is made into a Heritage site. The fact it is called the Karma lodge is beyond parody. Atleast there is a museum across the street that explains more about the history.

The bed was comfortable & shower pressure beautiful but the grout in the bathroom could have done with a good clean and whole room decor updated; very 80s in my opinion & overpriced at almost $300 a night. The lovely buffet breakfast enjoyed by the pool helped ease the wallet pain. If coffee is to be included, might I suggest...

Rottnest lodge was a great place to stay on the island. Very central to the ferry and town. Rooms are not as nice as they would be on mainland, but nice for being on Rottnest. comfy bed and clean. The quokkas also love hanging out at the lodge so you'll get plenty of pictures outside your room even :)

The lodge itself is decent. The breakfast buffet - average to below. If you want a quiet place to stay request rooms away from the Sports Bar. We have been awake every night with noise from the bands and patrons. Rooms 52 to 60 and 61 to 69 are the rooms to avoid if you want to sleep!
