As soon as you get off the ferry at Rottnest you feel like you are on holidays. The Hotel Rottnest is a very average establishment in a fabulous location. The rooms are like poorly maintained motel rooms, reception is open limited hours, there is no restaurant with the accommodation so no breakfast facilities. The hotel (a separate business) has great... More

We came over for barnsey and venue setup was the worst I have been to. 2hrs in ran out of coronas $68 for a bucket ?? 3 staff members in the bar I gave up waiting after 50mins in the line. What a waste of time worst venue for a concert ever. $99 for a ticket to get in $57... More

This hotel has a fantastic location right on the waterfront. Problem is they pretty well rely on that to satisfy customers and sometimes it is not enough. For instance the restaurant is one of those where you go up to the bar and place your order. No-one tells you this. After sitting at a table for some time you finally... More

Yes the drinks are expensive, so is everything in WA, however I think it's worth the extra for the view. My glass of wine was beautifully chilled and you can't beat the crispy chips doused in rosemary salt. The wait staff were friendly and literally ran to keep the pesky seagulls away.

We sat in our usual spot in the beer garden, the only people there. After getting our drinks a very unsavoury young lady came and asked us to move? I said we would if we could move towards the southern end. We then we're told about her horrendous day yesterday so I declined her offer to move. A guy came... More

We had such a wonderful time on Rottnest island . It is such a beautiful and magical place . The hotel is in a great location walking distance to the wharf and main settlement . The reception were friendly and helpful . The rooms are standard and the bed was comfy . There is a little courtyard with tables and... More

Situated in the main settlement for us this hotel / accomdation was the only place. With a sea view and a small patio area this accomdation was exactly what we wanted. Downside very expensive for what it is the room was clean and tidy the downside was no hot water for showering

The food and atmosphere is absolutely awesome! However I have been to the pub more than once and am extremely disappointed with the service quality! The fact that each time I am presented with poor service is actually appalling! I understand that at the bar and in the kitchen times can get stressful and rushed however for the bar staff... More

Want a good time on Rottnest? Then don't stay here! Seriously it will leave a sour taste in your mouth. There's no value for money here as the rooms are way overpriced. The reception staff are also useless. There is no other was to describe them so I'm just being honest. And if you do stay here, whatever you do,... More
