Stopped into Mt Barker for the night on short notice, owners thankfully found us a room. Room was clean and adequate for accomodating two adults and three small kids, motel was tidy and close to town centre

My wife and I, accompanied by our faithful border collie, we're delighted by the level of service offered by our hosts, the clean functional room and rose garden surrounds. And if that wasn't enough, the sumptious breakfast served earlier to our room than normal, to allow us to get away early ourselves, was a specific example of the good quality...

Yes , it does look dated ( even has breakfast hatches ) but it's everything you want in a country motel Value for money , clean , comfortable .... Room had microwave , quiet A/con , kettle fridge , tv ( reception distorted occasionally) ... Bathroom was very nice , with a hairdryer , separate toilet , nice warm shower...

Very clean & tidy, with microwave, kettle, fridge, air conditioner, and well situated, close to attractions, food, shops. Also very quite location, even as it is on the main road. Friendly staff and a great town, with lots to do.

Very pleasant room, quiet evening, bar fridge, slept well despite being near a busy road. Plenty of hot water coming out of a decent shower head. Only stayed the one night, but could see that the gardens are well maintained and attractive. No hesitation in recommending this place. Peter and Vai

Love this type of accommodation, though it can be very hit and miss and the odd disappointment is inevitable. Not so in this case. Whilst the premises appears to have been built in the seventies the upkeep has been well managed, the gardens are lovely and the rooms refurbished. Order your breakfast before eight pm the prior evening and it is...

Stayed for one night as a break in my journey. I called from Kojonup and they were lovely from that first call. This is a standard "old" motel style but the owners the Leggetts's have kept it modern. I had a roomy room with a single and a double. Ensuite is roomy and shower is hot. This is not a...

Initially we can only base our accommodation selection on the reviews on this site and website photos. After visiting their website I decided this was along the lines of what we wanted (as a couple). We were disappointed with the motel unit we were given. It was so small you couldn't swing a cat. The ensuite was ridiculously!!!! small. You...

It was a stinking hot evening. The air-conditioner worked. The smoke-alarm was broken. I had a good nights sleep. The bathroom was a bit cramped, but the shower was hot and continual. Parking was easy.

I stayed at this relatively small motel located on the edge of town on Albany Highway for one night enroute to another location. On arrival, the staff were friendly and provided any assistance I asked for. The motel from the outside in some aspects could be seen as looking a bit tired but this is decieving as the inside of...

“I found that if you are a light sleeper, you would need to make sure you get a room at the back of the motel away from the highway as road noise may be a problem for some.”

“All rooms looked good to me. There is the road with the inevitable road train, and yes, the rail line is close by, but the noise was minimal... ask the owners - they'll be very helpful I reckon.”
