Well what a pleasant surprise this guest house was! I'm first appearances we are a little wary because let's face it it's old. However, it's clean and well looked after. We had a very spacious room for the two of us and very spacious shower and bathroom. The linen on the bed was spotlessly clean and the towel smelt fresh. Anyone staying in this guest house is made to feel like family. Carol and Yvette are the most delightful people that you would ever want to meet. We should've stayed longer because I would really have liked to have a drink with them and a long chat. I would've loved to of heard more about the guest house and their lifestyle. Maybe another time. If you book this place make sure you opt for the evening dinner. We had the most delicious home-made roast of beef, chicken and vegetables with gravy plus homemade dessert for only $25. BYO wine and beer as well. In hindsight we should've made this guest house in Morowa our base for several nights and travelled out from there.

We had a two night stay on our
recent wildflower tour with friends. The motel was accomodation for a mining company in its former life . What it lacks in luxury is more than made up for by the amazing friendliness and cooking of Yvette and friends . We had a roast on our first night , pork and lamb with at least seven veg , gravy and sauces plus delicious sweets . Continental breakfast with pancakes and coffee pods included plus you can order a cooked breakfast . Big open fire outside to sit around . Yvette even made blue and yellow flames after West Coast eagles won . So many wildflowers in area .

Everlastings is a lovely country style guest house in Morawa. Yes it’s an older building but the rooms, bed linen and the ensuite bathrooms are spotless.Yvette, the owner, cooks the most amazing meals for dinner, her roasts are famous, as is her quandong jam for which she has won many prizes. We thank you Yvette and family for your hospitality, we’ll be back soon. Cheers, Jorge and Corrie

Stayed at the Everlasting Guesthouse for 2 nights whilst on a recent wildflower tour. The guesthouse is very well kept. Our room had a comfortable double bed, nice pillows, TV, aircon and a separate heater on the wall
The bathroom is quite large with a toilet and shower combined. Nice hot shower. Towels and soap were provided
The corned beef meal Yvonne cooked for dinner was superb and it came with mashed potatoes, corn, braised cabbage with bacon. Sweets were an ice cream sundae. Well done Yvonne, we loved it all
Breakfast is ‘ serve yourself' continental with good pod style coffee. You could also have hot pikelets with maple syrup.
We would be happy to stay here again when visiting Morawa in the future.

A friend recommended this guesthouse to my husband and me and the blurb describing the services was spot on. Don't expect The Ritz but if you need a clean, comfortable place to stay backed up by good, honest country tucker you've picked the right place.

Yvette, the hard working hostess is a great country cook and now I am trying to wean myself of desserts which we took advantage of.

We spent two nights here and had a base from which to explore the sights. I would recommend staying a minimum of two nights as there is a lot to see and it was nice not to pack up and then unpack again after a long drive.

Only thing to remember if you are with Optus you will have to have a holiday from iPhones, iPads, etc.

Looking forward to the Wildflower Season next year.

We were up here for wildflower season in late August (which was lovely). There's not exactly a whole lot of choice inland from Geraldton and this seemed to have strong ratings. We have no complaints and our two nights here went off just fine.
Starting with the good, there are a lot of rooms,it's clean, has a/c and heating and offers meals. So, basically it has all you need. On the other hand the accommodations are very (very) basic - fairly old, cheap construction with thin walls. Rooms get chilly pretty easily even with the heater working hard (this really isn't a problem, just an observation). We also found the owner a bit distant - no friendly welcome, no offer to tell us what we might want to do/see in the area.
Loved the parrot!
In summary, me and my wife were laughing at how this reminded us of summer camps when we were children. This is a very practical choice if you're in the area and I have nothing bad to say about it...so you'll be fine staying here, as long as you know what you're getting. And it's exactly like the email told me - don't expect the Ritz and you'll be fine. Spot on.

This was one of the most extraordinary places we have stayed at. It was originally a single men's quarters for a nearby mine (early 1900's).
It has been since converted into rooms with ensuites but the main construction is basically the same. The rooms are ordinary but this is more than offset by the current owner. She goes out of her way to ensure that all guests are looked after. We were entitled to have a complementary breakfast which we did. We also decided to pay for an evening meal and a take away lunch. So worth it with excellent food and plenty of it

Morawa is a sleepy wheatbelt town approximately 4 hours drive North of Perth. My reason for being there was to make room at my usual FIFO Mining Village accomodation for a large shut down maintenance crew. In this case Morowa was a hours drive from my site. The Morawa Guest House was originally a SMQ for WMC when they had a mining interest nearby. According to the present owner the buidling have been renovated a number of times and they are now 20 or so self contained rooms. I would call the accomodation and facilities as quirky, but also a pleasant break from the formality and crowds of a Mining Village. The rooms were large with a good size ensuite. The dining room was also a lounge area. Meals were cooked to order by the owner. The meals were worth the drive from the mine site.

Run down very untidy, the cabin that cost $180 per night was realistically worth $60. Don't be fooled by the glossy photos on the website. Place isn't as picture perfect as it is made to look. Cabin that was stayed in had cracks all through the place, cobwebs everywhere.

Kristina and Brent are amazing hosts. They go out of their way to help with anything you need. For dinner imagine a high end carvery meal every night. Comfortable bed, strong wifi, great coffee. A home from home.
Chilled water and soft drinks in the fridge and a laundry with brand new appliances.
Best of all are the hosts who are so welcoming.
