There were only 2 places to eat the night we stayed here. Very friendly staff and a typical country pub atmosphere. Over $30 for a steak and about the same for a small Pork Snitzel. Not good value but pleasant enough.

Stopped here on the way to Denmark and have to say was pretty happy with the stay. Clean rooms, really great food at the bar and nice cold beer. Only $105.00 for the room so the price was right as well. Worth a stop just for the fillet steak.... Enjoy

The room was damp and cold. The air-con was noisy and not effective with the owners not trusting guests with the temperature preset at a level just above freezing and a warning notice on the wall not to attempt to turn it up. The night I stayed it was 2 degrees outside and not much better inside. Minimal blankets supplied...

Firstly , the young lady 'running' the hotel that night , Taylor / Taylah , was absolutely fantastic .... laughing , smiling , chatty , joking ... as well as acting as receptionist , she was barmaid , bottle shop attendant , dinner order taker , trouble shooter .... The first room I was given had a faulty TV ,...

We were staying at a local B&B and this hotel was recommended to us. It is an old building, which is typical of a country pub. Walked in and the locals jumped off their bar stools to offer us a seat, enjoyed a drink while we ordered our meal over the bar. We were then shown in to the lounge...

We booked because it sounded like an historic hotel and it was located between Albany and Perth which was ideal for our road trip. Unfortunatelt, it is just a rundown, old motel. The place is tattered, dated and over-priced. However the bed was comfortable and the electric blankets were toasty on a very cold night. At $100 a night we...

As long as you're not expecting anything more than it is This is a little gem, the rooms were very clean (including the walls), bathrooms were also clean and free of mould in the grout. Bed was comfortable, firm but not a slab of concrete. Electric blanket provided to survive the chilly nights. The meals at the pub were great....

Comfortable bed, clean rooms, decor good except for bedroom carpet. Rooms 1-9 face the south and are a little gloomy on a rainy winter's day but probably they would be great in summer. Conversely the higher numbered rooms face east and would be better in winter and not so good in summer. Our room had fresh duck egg blue on...

On first appearance this looks like a fairly average kind of place to eat. It is old and in need of a makeover. Meals are ordered at the bar and the menu is fairly average with some of the selections being the prepared type of dish that is brought in bulk frozen form and to which a salad and/or chips...

Enjoyed an evening meal here on a trip to Perth. Despite it being Rotary night and extremely busy, the meal was excellent as was the service. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Located in the Main Street and within walking distance from most accommodation places and attractions in this lovely country town.
