Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great accomodation and services at the beach chalet. We had a key to the gate to go 4wd and that was fun. Don’t recommend oyster catching if you’re not with ppe husband ended up hurt! We stayed in a 2Bd chalet, all items were included just brought a towels toilet paper and blankets and pillows. There were some there but for hygiene it makes sense using your own. We had no toaster but we used the grill for this. Camper site unpowered where our friends stayed was Good too with clean facilities and showers and toilets. Only problem with shower was that cold water came on and off so was a little temperamental and as I hate to waste water didn’t like having to run it again and again. Probably only criticism is the tv was there, but didn’t work for all Chanel’s and showed no signal. Not a huge issue but thankfully got to watch the footy the night before without issue. Kids shows not so much luck! Friendly owners and a great place we will be back for another holiday for sure!!

Location includes caravan and camping sites. All amenties are very basic but clean. We had a caravan and had a very generous site. Located up on a hill with amazing views of the country side and ocean. Could see whale activity from our site. Would be very happy to use this location again. Absolute gem.

This camp site is old and tired. No privacy in the bathrooms, adjoining wall was low enough to peer over if you are so inclined. No hot water in the shower and unsealed track leading to the site was corrugated. All in, a less than impressive experience.

Located on top of the hills overlooking the ocean the view was amazing. A short dirt road to get there off the main road. Staff where friendly and accommodating. Basic amenities but showers where hot and welcoming. Definitely worth a stop.

Wagoe has beautiful views and stunning beaches. Sitting on our veranda watching whales cruise by and watching the sunsets was amazing. The owners are really friendly and happy people to chat to. The chalets were also clean, tidy and got everything you really need. My husband loves his fishing and I come to relax so it’s a win/win for us both. We even got a good feed of fish on our stay.

I would never stay here again! We booked here for two nights. We arrived at our camp site, discovered old bait bags, littered all through the bushes next to our site. The stench of old fish and bait was disgusting. The sites were all dirt, absolutely nothing like pictured on the website. The ablution blocks are a far cry of that, it is a tin shed with very basic ammenities. This is a place for fisherman and that's it. That is all that was there when we arrived and I would imagine that is all that stays there. They have cameras all over the place because they more concerned about people coming in and access the beach then maintaining the camp area. I asked for a refund and they declined. I told them I would report my experience and leave a review because they did not want to resolve the issue and they have told me they will be reporting me to the authorities for making threats.... I would not stay here ever again!! This place is not suitable for family's and children!

Lovely view! Shocking facilities! Cold showers. They only have a very small hot water service. We had cold showers at 7 am most mornings. Only two showers. On shower head points at the opposite wall. Two toilets. One has a broken Lock. The camp kitchen is basic and is also the Laundry!

Hubby and I have just spent the last 5 nights staying on Ted and Jenny's spectacular property. To say we have had an amazing time is definitely an understatement. 3 days camping and 2 nights in a chalet. Absolutely breathtaking views and lucky enough to have whales entertaining us everyday. Alfie & Coco the owners dogs, who came to visit us everyday made our stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely be going back. Thank you Jenny and Ted for your gracious hospitality and endearing chats. Cheers from Jacqui and Rod

You have the choice to take your camper and stay in their caravan park, powered or unpowered sites OR stay in one of nine fishing cottages that sleep up to 8. These are very basic but kept clean and tidy, gives everyone a good relaxing break! Also available is the quad bike hire and tour for those that want to add excitement to their holiday.
