I suspect this would be the most affordable accommodation you can find in the Kalbarri Region. We camped on an unpowered tent site between Christmas and '17 New Years and it was something like $10-$15 a person/per night which isn’t bad. Bare in mind however that you get what you pay for and if you don’t mind very basic camping facilities then this will not be an issue. If you’d like something a bit better, then there are other caravan parks at a fraction more but those do fill up quick so try to book in advance wherever you go.
Back on the facilities, they are kept clean but again they are very primitive and I’ve attached photos to illustrate the point without going into great detail. There was a mysterious hole in the wall of one of the male showers, and although it allowed a nice cool breeze into the shower, it’s not something you’d expect to find.
Now It was extremely windy which made putting a tent up a bit of a challenge, but this will be the case no matter where you stay in Kalbarri I imagine. They’ve setup some permanent fencing to help shield campers from the winds and that does help. We found plenty of thorns in the grass so I would recommend always wearing closed shoes, especially if you have kids. The view of the sand dunes and the ocean is stunning but not close enough to walk to the beach from the camp site. It’s great if you have a 4x4 and want to go on the sand but the seas would be too rough for most for swimming.
In summary reviewing purely from a tenters perspective, it’s affordable, in a nice location, however due to the primitive facilities it fell short of my expectations. I would say it's It's a good option worth considering for a cheap quick stop over if you're doing a long trip and need to break up the journey by staying for the night or two. Or if your're camping on a budget, then this is the place for you!
I hope this has helped.

Located on top of the hills overlooking the ocean the view was amazing. A short dirt road to get there off the main road. Staff where friendly and accommodating. Basic amenities but showers where hot and welcoming. Definitely worth a stop.

You have the choice to take your camper and stay in their caravan park, powered or unpowered sites OR stay in one of nine fishing cottages that sleep up to 8. These are very basic but kept clean and tidy, gives everyone a good relaxing break! Also available is the quad bike hire and tour for those that want to add excitement to their holiday.

Great accomodation and services at the beach chalet. We had a key to the gate to go 4wd and that was fun. Don’t recommend oyster catching if you’re not with ppe husband ended up hurt!
We stayed in a 2Bd chalet, all items were included just brought a towels toilet paper and blankets and pillows. There were some there but for hygiene it makes sense using your own. We had no toaster but we used the grill for this.
Camper site unpowered where our friends stayed was Good too with clean facilities and showers and toilets. Only problem with shower was that cold water came on and off so was a little temperamental and as I hate to waste water didn’t like having to run it again and again.
Probably only criticism is the tv was there, but didn’t work for all Chanel’s and showed no signal. Not a huge issue but thankfully got to watch the footy the night before without issue. Kids shows not so much luck!
Friendly owners and a great place we will be back for another holiday for sure!!

Location includes caravan and camping sites. All amenties are very basic but clean. We had a caravan and had a very generous site. Located up on a hill with amazing views of the country side and ocean. Could see whale activity from our site. Would be very happy to use this location again. Absolute gem.

Very friendly service and great views. Whales going past on arrival! Generous camp sites, non-powered we were on. Very quiet. More like bush camping than caravan park, but that's what we like! Happy to come back any time. Looking forward to our next visit already!

Very basic, kitchen disgusting and dirty, bathroom and shower facilities dirty and again disgusting. Toilets disgraceful. No service and no friendly faces. Not enough shade only bushes that block the ocean view. Not enough wind breakers we were blown to smithereens and ended up cutting our losses and leaving. Very run down. Perhaps a great places for a bunch of chaps fishing but not the place for family camping or a relaxing trip. Very disappointed.

We stayed there for one night in our caravan which was one night too many. We only stayed there as it was getting dark and we had driven a long way that day, but should have driven on into Kalbarri itself which is beautiful.
Dusty unlevelled sites, very ordinary amenities, and nothing for the kids to do. Things you put up with if it is cheap or free or even a nice atmosphere but not so.
Unfortunately I can't think of one positive thing to say about this place. Sorry

Kalbarri has three campsites in the centre of town, none of them quite providing the secluded and natural wilderness experience we were seeking. A 15 minute drive south however, right on the border of the national park, we found Wagoe. Set well away from any roads, with a stunning view over the ocean, we enjoyed moonlit nights free of any light pollution, stunningly fresh air, and no noise at all except the distant thrum of the Indian Ocean pounding the cliffs below. The toilets, kitchen and showers are all fitted with drinking water, power is available and we found it exceptionally clean, with easy access to all the local attractions - spectacular cliffs, gorges, lakes, and the Hutt River Province. This is the only campsite in Kalbarri where you can really get away from it all and experience the might of the great Aussie coastline. I'd highly recommend it.

Room Tip:Â we camped in our own tent and had a great experience but it can be windy so bring a good set of pegs

We came as a group purely for beach fishing purpose. The beach was great, but accommodation-wise was a let down. I remember coming here about 10 years ago and it wasn't too bad. Nothing too fancy but good enough to stay and fish. This time however, we could barely stand it. Rooms were dirty, bathroom dirty, whole chalet was dirty. Windows broken and bugs were able to enter because of this. We were contemplating booking another place in Kalbarri itself to stay because of this, but since we've already paid, we took it in the chin and stayed the entire 4-5days. It would've been great if they maintained the chalets, repair or renovated it to keep it up to date, but sadly this is not the case. Will have to think twice about ever coming back, which is a shame as it's a great fishing spot.

Unfortunately their website says no.
Each cabin has a slightly different assortment. We stayed in a large group and for the most part every cabin had a good selection of basic kitchen requirements like tongs, spatulas, peepers, serving spoons etc as well as the standard cutlery, glasses, mugs, plates and bowls.
