Just be careful what you book if you are in a tent, lots of good points about this park.
We pre booked about 6 weeks beforehand and told them that we are new to camping and would like a tent site.
When we arrived it was very windy and our site was straight up the driveway on the corner to the left. It felt like sitting on a median strip so we went back to the office and asked for something a lil sheltered from the wind for our tent.
We were then moved to site 39 which has a concrete pad and the rest is just dirt, no mesh on top. We were told that there were no others we could move to.
Next to us were site 40 and 41, 41 being perfect, next to a villa, a lil more privacy, green grass and nice mesh pad. We watched that spot sit empty for the two nights we were there while we padded about in dirt which was very unpleasant. Site 40 was occupied on the last night of our stay when a single guy in a camper van arrived late and enjoyed some green matting and grass even though he had a van however I’m not sure whether he just rocked up randomly as it was after office hours and you can just drive in and use the facilities which are not locked.
Otherwise, the facilities were good, laundry and clotheslines good, I liked the toilet and showers being in one and never had to wait. On one occasion the floor was floating in water and I had to push it down the drain and next morning around 7am there were two toilets with no toilet paper when everyone is waking up and wanting to use the facilities.
Kangaroos visited but not a problem for us.
My suggestion if in a tent, make sure what kind of site you are booking, lesson learnt for us. Location was good, easy walk to shops etc.
anyone coming here would have a car so the distance to IGA or anywhere in Kalbarri isn’t an issue.

We are traveling in a motorhome. We appreciated the excellent bathrooms with shower, hand basin and toilet in one room, supplying very good mop/scrapers to swipe water from shower floor.
Adequately sized sites with sparse grass. Wifi OK.
A few blocks from seafront, for which we were grateful, as the wind was howling.
Discount offered to hirers of Maui vehicles but not easy to apply this when booking on-line and cannot be applied retrospectively.
The national park is stunning, visit if you can.

A great caravan park, one of the cleanest and well maintained park we have stayed in so far travelling Australia.
Pre booked site 2 months prior to coming. Lou front desk manager was very accommodating. When arriving Mike maintenance manager was very helpful and friendly with finding our site with Lou remembering me from talking on phone 2 months prior.
We really appreciated the personal touches.
Great park managers.
We are aware they both have since left the park. Its a shame to hear.
They both were very professional at their job.
Thank you Mike and Lou.
Wish you the best.
Hope the park can maintain the same service in the many ways as they did.

We stayed for one night in August and tbh I couldn’t have stayed any longer . The staff were very friendly and helpful, but the pictures in no way portray the park. We stayed in one of the luxury villas (number 3) that had apparently been upgraded (perhaps in the 1990’s?).
The whole Villa just felt tired, old and not thoroughly clean, there was mould in the bathroom that had been painted over. The floor was covered in sand, the windows dirty, the towels were hard and crispy, the bed sheets old and faded and the furniture was at best functional. The toilet had a funny odour and if]t felt like someone had been smoking in the lodge. It was like the place needed a good refurb, clean and coat of paint.
However on the positive side, it was easy to find and conveniently located to the centre of Kalbarri.

We booked an ensuite suite, we did arrive at 1pm, check-in is 2pm, we just wanted to unhook the caravan not use the facilities, this was OK. On arrival at our site the cleaner turned up as we had unhooked our van. She entered the ensuite with broom, mop & bucket, no cleaning products or disinfectant, swept & mopped floor (with water only), was gone in less than 10 minutes. When my husband had a shower later that night, he had to wash the walls as there was spit from some disgusting person that had been there previously - enough to even make my strong stomached husband dry retch.

Almost didn’t stay here because of a recent review about loud patrons returning from the pub but in reality this could happen at any of the the central locations. Decided to pick this park because it had a pool and so glad we did.
The facilities we used were a powered site, shared toilets, showers, washing facilities, bbq & pool area and playground. All fairly clean for the age and amount of people at the park at the time. Was great to see staff working on the up keep of the grounds, making it look great and it made it easy when we had queries.
Great location short walk to the foreshore, park and shops. If your travelling with kids make sure you get down to the foreshore to feed the pelicans.
We loved it, let the whingers be gone.

I probably wouldn’t hurry back here. It’s great for kids with the small playground and jumping pillow and the pool is lovely and clean and a good temperature.
However, this is the noisiest caravan park I’ve ever stayed at. There needs to be more patrols etc to monitor noise. If it wasn’t teens playing hide and seek through the tents past 10pm it was a group of people coming back drunk at midnight screaming and carrying on. Being in a tent at this park isn’t suitable with young children.
Bathrooms could also use being cleaned more than once a day, as come end of the day you don’t really feel like showering with toilet paper etc spread over the floors.

Average caravan park. Kitchen is very small with one stove top. Bathrooms have a combined toilet and shower, so you often have to wait your turn. Good location near pub, grocery, beach. Good location for day trips to national parks and beaches.

Two nights in Kalbarri on our way back to Perth. Booked a 2br unit and were extremely pleased with the facilities and comfort. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help to try to find a charging station for our electric hire car. Unit had all the comforts we needed and very clean and quiet. Easy walk to dining venues. All facilities for families.

Partner and I stayed 6 nights in a powered tent site. Reception upon arrival was exceptional, originally we were camping in the back corner exposed to strong winds, however we were moved to the front of the park, a little more guarded from the wind. Nice and neat park. Park keepers are nice and quiet as they zip around in their buggy’s, don’t hassle you. Bathrooms and laundry are both well kept and tidy. Huge playground and jumping pillow for kids, pool is very well kept. Will be returning and recommending to friends. Great stay, thanks to all staff. 🦘

Hi, You definitely want to take the kids bikes. They ride around everywhere in Kalbarri. They can ride in the caravan park and the cars are meant to go slow so it is safe for them. Our kids spent the majority of their time of their bikes in the park. If they are a little bit older they can also ride down to the shops and their is a great bike path up to Jake's Point (a lovely beach).
Their website has a contact page were you can send an email but doesn't list an email address separately.
Geoff
Hi
I stayed there in September. You need to use the booking link on their website. You can use this for enquiries.
Regards, Petra
Hi as far as I can remember you can see the plan on their website but if not I'm sure if you phone they'll be happy to help as they were very friendly
