Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Deb, is the most welcoming and helpful hostess. Nothing is too much trouble to ensure your stay is great. The bed was comfortable and towels fluffy. The accommodation is quiet and although we couldn’t use the pool Deb had towels ready for us. Cannot recommend this Bed and Breakfast highly enough.. because it’s so wonderful it’s tricky to find availability, so if you do don’t hesitate to book.

A large quiet private suite in the garden of a lovely home in a beautiful neighbourhood. We swam in the pool, hung our beach towels on the line to dry. The proprietor brought us a basket of breakfast items according to our preferences when we arrived to put in the fridge provided so that we could enjoy our breakfast on our own time in the morning. This lovely spacious suite has a kitchen area and table for private dining, also use of sun loungers beside the pool. We only stayed two nights, we would have enjoyed a longer holiday. Walking distance to a famous Kilbarri restaurant bar called Finlay's, which we missed as it was closed Mondays.

Can’t rate Debbie’s amazing B&B highly enough. She has thought of everything and has amazing attention to detail - Egyptian cotton towels, welcome chocolates (in the fridge), amazingly comfortable bed (slept for 10 hours our 1st night - it had been a long drive), plentiful breakfast hamper and fabulous pool. To top it off the B&B is walking distance to the beachfront and all the amenities - highly recommend Finlay’s restaurant and the 8:45 Pelican feeding If we are visiting again we would definitely return

We had a lovely two night stay at Nautilus Retreat. The host (Debbie) was a great communicator in the lead up - making the organising very simple and stress free. Debbie takes great pride in her B&B and it shows in a multitude of ways - from the quality of toilet paper and hand soap provided, the linen and towels, and the breakfast ingredients. The bed was extremely comfortable, and breakfast by the pool was a delight each morning. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

So blown away by the incredible hospitality from Debbie. My partner and I stayed for one night traveling home from Exmouth and wish we were staying longer. The bed and pillows are so comfy, the tv has Netflix, there is free wifi, kitchen facilities, a beautiful bathroom and the room overlooks a lovely pool. Not only that, Debbie presented us with freshly cut fruit and fresh bread, as well as multiple options for cereal in the room. She made sure she had our preferred milk type and juice. When we arrived, she greeted us out the front and allowed us to park our jet-ski under her patio. We are so impressed and will definitely be returning. You are a wonderful host Debbie :) thank you. Xx

Nautilus retreat lives up to its name. We truly felt like we had retreated away from everything and were living in a little bubble of seaside paradise. The accomodation is lovely and the bed and pillows were so comfortable which was very welcome after a long day of hiking. There are plenty of restaurants within a short drive or a nice walk. Debbie the host is so nice and friendly and made our stay enjoyable. The included breakfast was delicious. The pool was inviting but the weather wasn’t quite warm enough for me to dive in. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Debbie has the most elegant, friendly B&B I've had the pleasure to stay in . Debbie was helpful while allowing privacy at all times, room was delightful with an eye to detail Debbie covered all aspects from the beautifully made up bed, shower and flowers to make one feel welcome the pool in backyard is immaculately kept and a total pleasure to spend time relaxing in the crystal clear water five stars out of five !! I'm not exaggerating its as good as I've described recommend a stay ! that is when we are allowed to wander once more when this virus hopefully stops wreaking havoc !!! stay safe everyone

Stayed here twice on our way up and back from Monkey Mia. What a little gem. Warm welcome from our host Debbie. Beautiful room set around the pool and garden. Room well equiped for our comfort. Breakfast, fresh fruit, juice, cereal, toast and preserves. Second stay was greated with home made cake. Added touch was being able to do some washing. Delightful host. Rate this gem 5 star plus.

We stayed at this wonderful B&B after camping through the Kennedy ranges. We rolled into town - dusty and dirty. Our hostess was so welcoming. The room was large with wonderful sheets and big fluffy towels. Our hostess was very generous with her facilities and time. Her breakfast was great.
