We had a lovely two night stay at Nautilus Retreat. The host (Debbie) was a great communicator in the lead up - making the organising very simple and stress free.

Debbie takes great pride in her B&B and it shows in a multitude of ways - from the quality of toilet paper and hand soap provided, the linen and towels, and the breakfast ingredients.

The bed was extremely comfortable, and breakfast by the pool was a delight each morning.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

A large quiet private suite in the garden of a lovely home in a beautiful neighbourhood. We swam in the pool, hung our beach towels on the line to dry. The proprietor brought us a basket of breakfast items according to our preferences when we arrived to put in the fridge provided so that we could enjoy our breakfast on our own time in the morning. This lovely spacious suite has a kitchen area and table for private dining, also use of sun loungers beside the pool. We only stayed two nights, we would have enjoyed a longer holiday. Walking distance to a famous Kilbarri restaurant bar called Finlay's, which we missed as it was closed Mondays.

So blown away by the incredible hospitality from Debbie. My partner and I stayed for one night traveling home from Exmouth and wish we were staying longer. The bed and pillows are so comfy, the tv has Netflix, there is free wifi, kitchen facilities, a beautiful bathroom and the room overlooks a lovely pool. Not only that, Debbie presented us with freshly cut fruit and fresh bread, as well as multiple options for cereal in the room. She made sure she had our preferred milk type and juice. When we arrived, she greeted us out the front and allowed us to park our jet-ski under her patio. We are so impressed and will definitely be returning. You are a wonderful host Debbie :) thank you. Xx

Can’t rate Debbie’s amazing B&B highly enough. She has thought of everything and has amazing attention to detail - Egyptian cotton towels, welcome chocolates (in the fridge), amazingly comfortable bed (slept for 10 hours our 1st night - it had been a long drive), plentiful breakfast hamper and fabulous pool.
To top it off the B&B is walking distance to the beachfront and all the amenities - highly recommend Finlay’s restaurant and the 8:45 Pelican feeding
If we are visiting again we would definitely return

Deb, is the most welcoming and helpful hostess. Nothing is too much trouble to ensure your stay is great. The bed was comfortable and towels fluffy. The accommodation is quiet and although we couldn’t use the pool Deb had towels ready for us. Cannot recommend this Bed and Breakfast highly enough.. because it’s so wonderful it’s tricky to find availability, so if you do don’t hesitate to book.

Very nice and tidy room, next to the swimming pool. Great location to explore the area, not too far from Kalbarri's restaurants. Debbie was very nice and helpful. Great value for money and I would stay there again.

An excellent B&B. The room was large and adjacent to an attractive pool with really comfortable reclining chairs. The room was beautifully arranged and the bathroom was furnished with everything you might need. Breakfast was lovely with fresh fruit and juice. The location was ideal as it was only a short walk to the water's edge and the shops. Debbie, our hostess could not have been more helpful and we regretted the fact that vwe had only arranged to stay one night.

The proprietress is very nice, the room is spacious, well-appointed, and clean. Kalbarri itself is a lovely little town in a great spot on the WA coast. The breakfast provided was simple -- fruit, cereal, toast -- but perfectly pleasant. The room has tea and coffee-making facilities and a small fridge. The shower and bathroom are excellent.

If you're thinking of visiting Kalbarri (and it's well worth a visit) then you should definitely stay with Debbie at Nautilus Retreat. Debbie is a great host - very friendly and helpful - and the room is faultless. It's clean and spacious, and completely self contained, opening out on to a great pool. Debbie will make you feel very welcome, I wish we could have stayed longer!
