Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I do not recommend staying at this park. The men that run the park Kevin and Jeff confront women in a very rude, aggressive and antagonizing manner. They are extremely unreasonable and run the park in a military style with no accountability themselves. This confrontational behaviour and harassment (after we complained to Perth staff) caused so much stress and anxiety in our family over the days we stayed, we felt extremely uncomfortable and harassed to the point where we left our holiday 3 days early. This has been the worst camping experience I have ever had, and do wish other families to waste their time and money at this park. The experience was not consistent with other WA and Kalbarri parks. The park is NOT kid friendly at all. There is hardly any shade and there are no additional bathroom facilities to use other than your one en-suite bathroom, so for a larger size family like mine it was a struggle with just one toilet. The concerns over the way the staff treated us were taken up with Summerstar management but they have since not gotten back to us after promising to look into it and have since ignored us. They have refunded 1 night stay. A days refund does not give back your time or the relaxation from a welcoming and stress free camping environment.

The two men that run the park are very rude as well as the ladies in the office. If you park your vehicle on an empty site while trying to set up they complain. They walk around at 9:30pm at night telling everyone to talk quietly and turn off the music, can’t even play it softly. Feels like at a school camp. You cannot wash your boat or run your motor to clean it. There are so many ticks from the kangaroos. The kids had them crawl in their hair. The only positive is the lovely pool and the shower facility. We stayed for 10 days and had to clean your own toilet and shower. We had to continuously ask for extra toilet paper and justify why we needed more. While asking for more toilet paper they tried to get us to complain about the kids having fun in the park. That’s why family’s go camping so kids can ride scooters and have fun in a safe environment. It’s wonderful to see kids play and making new friends. Will not go back

Great for families. Big pool with partial sea view, and right near ocean. Grassy areas, and well maintained and cleaned. Having own ensuite a real bonus. Only negative was the presence of bees. Highly recommend.

Now this is how all Gday parks should be! Friendly staff, great layout, clean, tidy and modern. Many other gday sites could learn a thing or 2! Would stay again for sure. Seconds from the beach and minutes driving into town. En-suite shower and toilet were spot less, water pressure was great - worth every penny. Finally, watch out for the poop on the grass - shoes at all times and be mindful of jumping roos (over the fence) towards the main road.

Great position for sunset viewing from the cabin balcony. We also saw whales, dolphins, kangaroos and emus without leaving the cabin. Clean facilities and the pool was lovely. Just be aware at night it's hard to see the turn off when coming back from town. I'd be happy to stay again.

As a decorated, ex servicing military member of 13 years and travelling the great land of Oz for the last 7 months with my family, I would have to say this is the most inhospitable park we have stayed in to date. Due to my current health conditions, I have been diagnosed with multiple health concerns, incl mental health conditions and am required to self medicate with percription medication. This park apparently doesn’t allow for that !!! Being asked to leave the park by the manager, close to the middle of the night, when no one else is up and not disturbing anyone, was discrediting and distasteful. I am a vetran, a husband, a father of 2 with no criminal history what so ever and i was made to feel like a 18 year old druggie and that couldn't be more further from the truth. Summerstar head office needs to really think about who represents thier young company. A good start would be getting rid off the ancient mentality of management within this park.

Has to be one of the most comfortable cabins we have ever stayed in anywhere. We stayed in a 2 bed cabin for 3 nights and didn’t want to leave. These cabins are in a beautiful position overlooking Red Bluff- what a view . The cabins are in immaculate condition - everything you could want has been included ( sleep 5 comfortably). The staff were welcoming and helpful. We were last in Kalbarri 2019, so much has happened since then, Covid, cyclones and more- Kalbarri has always been on our list of places to get back to- yes it’s a long way from NSW. So glad we made the effort- Kalbarri is still stunningly beautiful and staying at Red Bluff ensured our return visit was perfect.

We stayed in one of the chalets. The chalet and the park itself far exceeded my expectations. The park is set in a stunning location and close to the town of Kalbarri. The chalet was modern and clean on arrival and met all of our needs. Would highly recommend if looking for somewhere to stay in Kalbarri
