The town of Harvey is nice as it is, but to arrive at this beautifully presented home B&B was spectacular. A curvy, gravel driveway with plenty of trees, flowers, walkways and bridges takes away the days stresses immediately. The host was very helpful, as if it was his life task to make you feel at home. The rooms were very clean with an adequate sized ensuite. The continental breakfast was exactly what you would expect from a town surround by great producers: fresh and delicious. I look forward to going back there again.

Karen and Jeff have obviously put a lot of thought and effort into the design of their lovely home and garden and they have carried this approach over into their b&b operation. Our rooms were comfortable, spacious, spotless and very well appointed, the guest lounge is delightful and well stocked with hot drinks and treats, and the garden is a great place to spend an hour or so. Jeff and Karen are interesting and engaging hosts and the breakfast was perfect.

Wow. Something special. This is easily one of the nicest BnB’s we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many across the world. The Hampton style home sits amongst the sprawling lawns and garden s. Our bedroom with its queen sized bed , large ensuite and walk in robe just added to our experience. The breakfast served in the dining room by our wonderful hosts Karen and Jeff was excellent . Such a wonderful experience and for those with more time to stay, the outdoors sitting area is huge and overlooks the swimming pool and the gardens . Well worth the drive to Harvey. Chalbury Park B&B is the most delightul B&B I have ever stayed in. The house and gardens are absolutely beautiful. The owner, Karen was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The room is extremely well appointed, the lounge and dining area is decorated in a timeless classic style. The breakfast was so delicious, especially the fruit, eggs and macadamia nuts that all come from the property. I highly recommend Chalbury Park B&B and I am already planning my next visit. Thank you Karen.

Chalbury Park B&B is just an awesome place to stay. Beautiful, tastefully decorated bedrooms with comfy beds, lovely common room with very comfortable Chesterfield lounges and the availability of a a nightime nip of port to help you get to sleep. The gardens outside are to die for with abundent birdlife, beautuful green lawns and a winter creek. The hosts, Karen and Jeff were fantastic and you would not believe how magnficent their breakfast is. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in this neck of the woods, don’t go past Chalbury Park.

A beautiful residence, tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean. Jeff and Karen have such exquisite taste in decor, a sheer delight just to be there. I can only imagine that in spring/summer the roses will be in full bloom, what a glorious sight that will be. The gardens are beautifully planted. Just to add to all of the above, breakfast is perfect. No need to bother looking for anywhere else to stay in the area. Looking forward very much to a return.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this delightful property. Our hosts Karen and Jeff couldn't have done more to make our 2 day stay any more relaxing and memorable. The breakfasts provided a wonderful variety of very fresh fruit and juices and this was just the warm up for main meal (cooked and/or cereal). A newspaper and a lovely fresh croissant was added to finish off. The living facilities were very clean and pleasant and we could always find a pleasant nook in the delightful garden to relax in no matter where the sun was.

Driving up the driveway with it's avenue of golden ash, still naked of foliage, we knew that the peace we were looking for was here at Chalbury Park B & B. Jeff greeted us so warmly before showing us to the gorgeous Winchester Room with expansive views over the cottage gardens. There is a gentle luxury in the home with an understated good taste in every item of furniture. The setting, although on the edge of town, had a semi rural feel with a paddock of cows next door.
Breakfasts were a visual delight and a feast of yummy taste sensation. Karen presented out fresh fruit in a different way each morning and she assured me she has 6 presentations in her repertoire.
Wandering the gardens is like going on a treasure hunt with all sorts of knick knacks placed around the stunning gardens. Our 2 night stay reminded us what it is to get back in touch with each other in the tranquil surrounds.
Idyllic surroundings, gorgeous home and gardens, a crackling log fire, congenial hosts and yummy food.....what more could the heart desire, made all the better for sharing it with my beautiful husband. Thanks so much to Jeff and Karen from Jayne and Gordon
