We stayed at Harvey Hills on the recommendations of friends. The chalets were simple, clean, well-equipped and comfortable. The shower was also great.

The chalets are all positioned to look out towards the rolling fields and water. The views are stunning.

There were plenty of animals to keep my 6 and 3 year olds busy. They loved seeing the Alpaca, feeding the hens, collecting eggs and petting the rabbits.

There is play equipment such as a trampoline, see saw and swing. Also a pool. So much to keep them occupied on site.

It’s well located to explore the surrounding area. Thank you Shaye and Richard for such a wonderful stay.

This was our second visit here. First one was about 5 years ago when it was owned by another person. We felt great to be here again. Shaye & Richard are great. Thank you Richard for taking us for a farm tour in our 4x4 buggy, we loved it... My 6 year old son had a great time and he spent most of the day with the animals especially the chooks and Rabbits. We'll definitely come back again. The only inconvenience was with the booking as there is no online booking yet, so it is either done via Phone or emails, but i am sure they will be implementing it soon. Loved it !

We have just spent 2 gorgeous nights here with our 8 and 11 year old children. We were concerned the 11 year old might be a bit passed the farm stay age but he was super-engaged and loved every minute. The location, hospitality & animals were all lovely. The fire pit was FAB. Thank you and see you next year!

Richard & Shaye really made us all feel welcome. We traveled in a very large group (12 kids 0-13 yo and 8 adults) and we felt very welcomed. We had booked out all 4 chalets and stayed for 2 nights. The kids absolutely loved feeding the animals in the mornings and playing on the farm, running around outside all day was beautiful. We will definitely be back in the future!

We had a great time while we were at the farm. Shaye and Richard have only recently taken over ownership and are already making it their own. Making us all feel very welcome. We stayed in chalet 4 . which was spacious and the veiw from the balcony was magic, what a beautiful piece of land it is on. Our grandchildren loved feeding the animals and seeing them come running for the food, which Shaye and Richard give you to feed them with. They also take time out to talk to you about it all at the feeding times.
It was a very relaxing time with the peacocks freely roaming around the chalets.
A trip to the nearby Harvey Dam is a must, this area is only five minutes away and has walks and BBQ areas available to you. Harvey townsite is less than 10 mins.from the farm with good Fish and Chips and supermarkets.
We hope to make a return visit sometime. Thanks Shaye and Richard see you again.

We have unfortunately just returned from our incredible four night getaway to Harvey Hills Farm Stay. At first we thought our 16 month old son might be too young to enjoy the farm but we were wrong, he absolutely LOVED the friendly animals and the big open spaces to explore and roam free. The owners Shaye and Richard were patient and accommodating with him when he was a little scared to feed the animals at first and by the end of our stay he was an absolute pro. The chalets are comfortable and fitted out with everything you need, we just brought food for the week to cook, bbq amenities were also available on the balcony of the chalet (with the added bonus of an incredible view). Needless to say we would recommend this to anyone and you will have a brilliant getaway.

With a group of five adults and four kids under 4 we booked 2 chalets next to each other (Chalet 3 & 4) for a long weekend. It was great fun. The kids loved the fresh air and open surroundings. My son is almost 3 and he loved feeding the animals in the mornings.

The balcony views are absolutely spectacular and the view can be seen from inside also with the blinds open. We ate via BBQ most meals because the outdoor space was the best place to relax. We were visited all through the day by little wrens who were friendly and even able to be hand fed with crackers.

My son loved the peacocks and chooks roaming the property, a little weary but he was fascinated and excited by it all.

The chalets are neat and comfortable, we were warm and it has all the necessities for being self contained. Heaps of pots, pans, plates, dishwashing liquid, fridge, etc. We didn't have any needs outside of what was there.

Richard and Shaye were very friendly but there was always plenty of privacy in your chalet so a perfect balance.

We had a really lovely weekend, my son and the other kids had an awesome time and we will definitely be keen to return.

Headed down to Harvey for a mini family getaway to celebrate our animal loving 2 year olds birthday. The views were unbelievable and the morning animal feedings were a hit with the kids. Richard and Shaye were wonderful hosts and were patient with the little ones. Definitely be recommending this one and hope to return ourselves.
