Bullara is an amazing place to stay. The whole experience was exceptional, the staff and owners are so lovely, the nicest most friendly and helpful people we have ever met. The character of the whole place is so unique and offers a fantastic experience to relax or enjoy a social event i.e. very special Damper nights with John, Burger nights not to be missed (the best burgers ever) beautiful home cooked dinners, gorgeous home baked cakes and scones not to mention the best coffees around. The animals around the place are equally amazing as are the various walks and the trip to the Gulf on the station. We stayed far longer than we intended and were very sad to leave but will look forward to returning to our favourite place for an extended visit next year. Thank you to everyone at Bullara we miss you

Have visited Bullara for their excellent scones a number of times but this was our first overnight stay. Website booking was simple & our request for tickets to Friday burger night done without a problem. Burger night is terrific. Absolutely packed but a seamless well-oiled machine with a great touch of fun staff & volunteers. There was also a musician which added a special touch. The burgers were lovely & I’m not a burger lover. Facilities good with some great quirky fittings. We took one of the walks to Sunset Hill in the morning. In the face of the harsh climate in our north this station keeps on trucking. We wish you well for a good wet season.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bullara. It was a unique experience with Gilly and Dean (hosts) making everybody feel very welcome and we really enjoyed the damper night with John, tasting his culinary delights and hearing his stories and poems. It was a great spot to chill out, hike a few trails, have a sconeathon in their gardens or duck to Exmouth or Coral Bay. Highly recommend a stop over at Bullara!

We stayed one night here. Booking in was seamless and very friendly, we were invited to come for coffee & scones the next morning - which we did where the coffee & scones were both excellent ☕️ 😊 After booking in we were directed to an entry point where we were met by a woman on her bike - she welcomed us to Bullara & explained the station history & directed us to our site. We felt very welcomed and will definitely be back - but it will be for more than 1 night.

A***** AMAZING CAMP!
My bestfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights whilst travelling through Coral bay & Exmouth. We were welcomed with the hosts straight away. We couldn't say enough good things about this cool place. We loved the rustic, vintage vibes and decoration. Everyone raves about the tree bucket showers! They occasionally have a band playing at weekends and burger nights on Friday's! So accommodating and their Coffee and scones OMG = delicious!!!! They sell meat packages too. Cannot recommend enough! Do yourself a favour and book it 😊👌 x

What a fabulous Station! Huge sites, extremely friendly staff who are happy to chat or help in any way, very clean and tidy and the animals are wonderful for the kids (and adults 😉)! Friday burger night was so seamless and well organised, and the Bullara beef was so good we bought some patties, sausages and a roast to-go! Our 9 year old son said that burger night was ‘the best’! The sausage rolls and Bullara Beef pies are no joke a meal in themselves and so tasty, I had to buy a few extras for the road! Having access to the Gulf diversified our stay and is well worth it, we went at low tide and saw heaps of crabs and mudskippers. We were lucky enough that the markets were on and fresh produce from Borich & Sons was available as well as sand-free towels and items from Will & Wind. Also, bought my very own Lap Map from Soph (Lapmap Australia) and can’t wait to track our tracks! The recent improvements to the Station show the owners’ passion for creating a unique destination in the Gascoyne. We will be back!!

Our 2nd visit in 2 years and I’m sure we will be back. We just love staying here. We camped unpowered in a Jayco Swan with our 3 teenage children. Great atmosphere that allows for bush camping with a few of life’s luxuries. Love the novelty of showering under the stars. We did all the walks and watch the sunset on Red Hill. You must make time to savour the coffee and scones in the homestead. It’s also so close to Coral Bay you can make a day trip of it rather than stay in the crazy rat warren that is Coral Bay caravan parks.

Firstly we were warmly greeted by Leanne at check in, not only providing a lovely interaction but quite a sense of humour that we highly appreciated after a long day of driving. Secondly we were pleasantly surprised with the accommodating amenities, something a little different from the usual but doing the job well, loved all the created little touches. Thirdly, BE THERE ON A FRIDAY! And make sure you have a bullara beef burger. What a fantastic experience, live music and meat farmed from the station itself, cooked over an open fire. It doesn't get much more authentic than this, sat on a couch in an old shearing shed with the overhead gear still in tact. Thankyou for exceeding our expectations Bullara

Stayed on the powered site, it was one of the cattle pens. The site itself was massive, with some trees at the other side of it for shade if needed.
They've made a wonderful start on the walking tracks throughout the station, I hope that they end up doing more of these, as they take a decent amount of time.

The playground is old, however they were putting some fresh sand under it while we stayed there.
I see that they were also making a start on some jumps for kids to use on their bikes, which would keep them amused for hours, I hope this pans out.

Toilets and showers always immaculately clean.
Staff extremely friendly and there was a camper who is employed as a greeter who takes you to your site and gives you tips on what to do/see etc. which is a lovely touch.
Great price at $57/night for 2 adults and 3 kids.

There also seems to be events on with live music on select nights. The night we were there, the damper man (John I think) was cooking damper with samples with everyone. Lovely touch as well.

The cafe... what can I say? Probably the best scone I have had as well as the kids loved their brownies. The coffee was probably one of the better ones I have had in a long time (live in the Kimberley). Highly recommended.

Will definitely stay again.

We just got back on the weekend and I so wish we were back there. Absolutely loved it! Great place with fantastic people, great sites and lovely ambience. The check in was quick and friendly. The camp host was so accommodating and showed us our site and the important things like ablutions, camp kitchen, fire pits and play ground. The ablutions are top notch and there are different showers to choose from. The scones and coffee are a must they are delicious. Damper John is a treat and I highly recommend you attend his nightly get togethers. You will meet Maggie the kangaroo and her Joey and they are so friendly. We had the most amazing moon rising whilst we were there and the night sky is brilliant. My son loved having his outdoor showers. So mush to see and do and we can't wait to go back.

As reported in the review, we spent the night in one of the 6 rooms of the Shearers Lodge. We do not know the prices for the other accommodations. If you call they are very polite. If you decide to go, consider booking the restaurant as it only has 32 seats. Regards
