Quirky camp-site on an active cattle station. Worth it even if it's only for the scones for breakfast! Good sites, great amenities, couple of nice bush walks - beer bottle walk timed for sunset was spectacular. Great mini break in the middle of our exmouth trip.
Loved our stay at Bullara. Arrived late but had let them know and they waited for us to show us to the site. Stayed for 2 nights and loved the feel of the place. The scones were to die for and great coffee. Enjoyed the sheep who wandered round and were no trouble and a small roo who was around too. Everything had a great comfortable feel with friendly staff who were always around to help out. It bucketed down while we were there but it was no bother and they need the rain! The puddles were great fun for the kids and had a few laughs watching them ride their bikes through the puddles. Great place for anyone on the road and entertainment with damper nights and stories, a singer to entertain and lots of farming happenings to observe.
After 25 nights camped on the beach at Ningaloo station having sponge baths was great to have a relaxing shower in one of the novelty showers. Staff were very helpful at this professionally ran station. The fresh scones and great coffee are a must. Loved our stay and will definitely be back.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bullara. It was a unique experience with Gilly and Dean (hosts) making everybody feel very welcome and we really enjoyed the damper night with John, tasting his culinary delights and hearing his stories and poems. It was a great spot to chill out, hike a few trails, have a sconeathon in their gardens or duck to Exmouth or Coral Bay. Highly recommend a stop over at Bullara!
Our first-ever station stay and loved it! We were blessed with great weather, and the star-gazing was magical. Every staff member we encountered was super friendly and helpful. Damper John was particularly helpful with our efforts to make the great Aussie icon - not bad, but his was way better! Highly recommended.
