We arrived just in time for burger night and what a fantastic night we had. We loved the whole set up. Everything was spotless, well maintained and though out. The bucket showers under the stars were a highlight, best scones EVER, and kids loved fishing by the tidal creek. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Friendly staff, great information when you arrive. Try the scones, hamburger night on Friday night with live music. Walks, great for families, night photographers will love the stars and the Milkyway on a clear night Put it on your bucket list, you will not be disappointed.
We've just left after 4 glorious days at Bullara Station. Too many wonderful things to mention all of them but, in no particular order...the staff, the bird life, the station walks, the showers (omg, best showers ever..), burger night.....just go there, NOW
We had the most incredible 5 nights at Bullara during our trip to Exmouth and Coral Bay. It is an ideal location located almost between the two. The camp itself exudes charm and really has a warm family feel. A truly special place. We stayed in both the safari tent King Fisher and the Shearers Lodge - two different but equally charming experiences. I cannot recommend the safari tents more, ultimate luxury in the aussie outback. Shearers Lodge was fab and very cosy. The staff were lovely and the camp amenities were exquisite. The outdoor 'lava trees' showers are a must. We really enjoyed all of the walks around the station and the sunsets were awesome. Friday night burger night is one not to miss. Can't recommend Bullara enough and already looking forward to planning a return trip soon. Jess & Rhys…
Stayed on a Friday night and got to experience Burger Night and this Stations amazing country hospitality. The burgers were amazing and I would have bought some more to take with us but we left before the shop opened the next morning. Loved the outdoor shower with the gum trees and having the sheep wandering around all added to the authenticity of it being a working station. We will be back on our Big Lap and will be recommending to our family, friends and Insta followers #NoosaNomads
Stayed on the powered site, it was one of the cattle pens. The site itself was massive, with some trees at the other side of it for shade if needed. They've made a wonderful start on the walking tracks throughout the station, I hope that they end up doing more of these, as they take a decent amount of time. The playground is old, however they were putting some fresh sand under it while we stayed there. I see that they were also making a start on some jumps for kids to use on their bikes, which would keep them amused for hours, I hope this pans out. Toilets and showers always immaculately clean. Staff extremely friendly and there was a camper who is employed as a greeter who takes you to your site and gives you tips on what to do/see etc. which is a lovely touch. Great price at $57/night for 2 adults and 3 kids. There also seems to be events on with live music on select nights. The night we were there, the damper man (John I think) was cooking damper with samples with everyone. Lovely touch as well. The cafe... what can I say? Probably the best scone I have had as well as the kids loved their brownies. The coffee was probably one of the better ones I have had in a long time (live in the Kimberley). Highly recommended. Will definitely stay again.…
One of the best campsite we have found during our road trip from Perth to Exmouth. I wasn't sure what to expect but it really went beyond any expectations. The campground and station is super neat and quiet, with great touches and atmosphere. Friendly hosts, great coffee and cafe, burger nights and campfires. The kids loved playing with the sheeps and other animals in the station. We stayed 2 nights and it was a great spot to come back to after days enjoying Coral Bay and Exmouth. We wished we had stayed longer. Really recommend. Amazing value for money, and great experience overall.
Loved our stay so much we are going back for 3 more nights on our return trip to Port Hedland. Hoping to enjoy all 3 walks this time and partake n some Bullara Damper. The coffee and cakes served by the lovely friendly staff are delicious and a must have. Facilities are great especially the delightful rustic bathrooms under the stars.
Great over nighter .Facilities and camp hosts excellent.Damper cooked three nights a week,John excellent speaker and Damper cook.Scones could possibly be the best cream to jam ratio ever. Will definitely be back for a longer stay
