We camped at Bullara for 4 nights. It has easy access for day trips to Coral Bay and Exmouth. If you have the opportunity, go for Friday night burger night, it was great fun and the burgers are delicious. We stayed at another outback station the night we left Bullara and the atmosphere and friendliness was nothing like Bullara. Everyone is super friendly and helpful at Bullara. I felt the camping sites were a little too small and close together. All the amenities were clean at all times. We purchased some station beef to take with us and it is some of the best steak we have eaten. I just hope the demand for accommodation doesn't compromise the uniqueness of this fantastic place. Thanks for having us Bullara Station - we will be back.
Firstly we were warmly greeted by Leanne at check in, not only providing a lovely interaction but quite a sense of humour that we highly appreciated after a long day of driving. Secondly we were pleasantly surprised with the accommodating amenities, something a little different from the usual but doing the job well, loved all the created little touches. Thirdly, BE THERE ON A FRIDAY! And make sure you have a bullara beef burger. What a fantastic experience, live music and meat farmed from the station itself, cooked over an open fire. It doesn't get much more authentic than this, sat on a couch in an old shearing shed with the overhead gear still in tact. Thankyou for exceeding our expectations Bullara
Stayed in one of the shearers lodges for an overnight stay on the way in to Exmouth and then 3 nights in a tent in the camp ground on the way out. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience from the moment we drove through the gates, Tim and Edwina have done a fantastic job of capturing the "outback experience ", and nothing looks out of place, very friendly helpful staff, all facilities are spotlessly clean, plenty of showers and heaps of hot water and pressure . Dinner at the long table was fantastic and a great way to socialise, Friday night birger night on fire with live music is a must aswell as barista coffee and scones from the Cafe. Unfortunately we didn't get to the damper night on Wednesday, a fantastic place to stay for all ages and plenty of room to spread out, it was fully booked when we stayed however it did not feel overcrowded at all. Don't drive past.…
The room was nice.the lady that showed us around and young Scottish lady The older lady how book you is very grumpy.would have been nice to be told before we pack all ours belonging in car and return key.to be told we was having same room for next two nights.the scones are lovely.we stay in lodge.which is not close to tolets or showers.the showers do not have doors only curtain.when we have used backpacks the toilets have been in building not outside. If you are camping it would be lovely.
We really enjoyed our stay at Bullara Station Stay. It was unique and different in the best ways possible. The views from the campsite were amazing and really introduce you to both 'outback' Australia and a working station. Toilet/shower facilities were epic and enjoyed the more out in nature aspect (but still ample hot water and pressure). The walking trails around the site were great, and the sheds, kitchens and eatery were fun to look through. Cooking facilities were also great.
