We stayed 4 nights and used it as a base for Exmouth touring and Coral Bay visit. Would have preferred to have just chilled at the station but van sites were hard to get in Exmouth so we chose Bullara as our base. Loved everything about the station, the generous site size, we stayed unpowered the first night in Camp Fossil and loved it and then moved to gumtree site 3 which was powered. Had dinner on the Wednesday night which was 5 star. Highly rate the scones, the coffee and the quiche which we sampled several times during our stay.
Cabin and accomodation are so far the best we try in a station ! Everything is absolutely magic! The commun space is so cute and very clean And I don’t have world for the cafe ! Best station I have been !!’ Thanks to the owner for this wonderful experience they offer to us
Enjoyed 5 nights on a powered site; loved our stay, enjoyed Burger night held on Fridays and the Damper tasting. Great coffee, scones and excellent sausage rolls are available from the cafe located in the woodshed. Can’t wait to come back again with our family.
We stayed at Bullard for 3 nights. Had to queue for some time to check in but it was a good opportunity to chat to others and when we did make it to the counter the staff were friendly, smiling and helpful as was the camp host who showed us to our site. We tried all the trails and enjoyed a sunset on the red hill. We purchased some very reasonably priced sirloin steak from the office and it was tender and delicious. Scones at the cafe were excellent. Unfortunately the restaurant nights were already fully booked when we arrived so would advise booking those in advance. We were expecting the usual when we booked and had no idea that the whole setup would be so quirky, enjoyable and such fun. We would certainly recommend Bullard Station to others.
We just spent 5 nights in our Avan at Bullara and enjoyed being there. It's a great place to base yourself and see the attractions in the area but return to the relaxed friendly atmosphere at Bullara. Becareful, the scones and cream for morning tea are addictive. We found all the staff were so friendly and helpful and it was nice to see Damper John is still entertaining everyone round the camp fire. Loved the burger night too. Thank you everyone for a great stay. Brenda, Ray and Ollie
We needed somewhere to stay en route to Karijini and we were probably not prepared for the awesomeness of Bullara. So much to do. The quirky campsites and amenities were gorgeous. Proximity to Ningaloo is awesome. Staff/hosts were brilliant. Nature walks aplenty. We didn’t really book long enough to take full advantage of what Bullara has to offer. Our daughter loved it. She felt safe enough and confident enough to explore with her newfound friends. The playground was awesome…not to mention the bike tracks! We cannot recommend this place highly enough!! Loved it.
Stayed for two nights caravanning, and loved it. Lots of space between sites, plenty of things to do. Loved the Lava Trees. If you’re planning to go make sure you don’t miss the scones, pies and sausage rolls in the morning - you’ve got to be quick. And if you’re there for a Friday night, make sure you’re booked in for the burger nights.
Stayed 4 nights and was pleasantly surprised. It was way above our expectations and our best station stay. The station was very busy, but booking in was handled efficiently and the parking guides were excellent and informative. The facilities were plentiful and clean. The coffee and scones were delicious and added another enjoyable aspect. Unfortunately the meals that were available while we were there were booked out, so advise would be to enquire when making booking and book a spot then. The damper night was very enjoyable and Dan is a great demonstrator. I enjoyed the walks that are around the station. Highly recommended.
I stayed just for a night at Shearer's lodge last week.Wanted to stay longer but couldn't due to my own schedule. However, it was a great short experience that I had at Bullara. Brings to life an outback station experience while not taking you far from the modern day amenities. 1. This place is easy to reach, mid way between Coral Bay and Exmouth. Comfortable access by 2WD - easy sign posted. 2. Great hosts - they made sure by calling up earlier that the check in is smooth. 3. I stayed on a Friday night - it's a great way to enjoy Burgers by the fire, live band...the whole station community comes to life. 4. The Shearers lodge had all modern amenities that you would expect in a holiday park. 5. The station is dotted with memories of the outback station day- be it the unique restrooms, or the famous bucket shower- they have something for everyone. Highly recommended for those exploring Coral coast/ Ningaloo.…
Bullara Station was very nice, can see the changes since being there a year back. Staff are very nice, John was very helpful. The $48 meal was nice but a.bit expensive especially when have to get it like being fed at school or something. We went to the Gulf across the road very rough trip in nothing to see the tide must have been out.
