Neat tidy park as you would expect from RAC. Plenty of bins and the sites are allocated by the size of your vehicle during booking… oversize yourself! Sites are hard compacted level gravel.Large camp kitchen. Coffee Food van on site of a morning. Can do phone check in and get access for gate. Great location opposite the information centre and pub over the road. Downside..$70 a night and after 3 nights I still did not manage to get a hot shower even after trying different times.

We stayed here for 3 nights in a cabin so we could explore the coast and also enjoy whale shark diving. The room was fantastic. Plenty of room and very well equiped. The kitchen was fully equipped and there was a great bbq on the secluded verandah. Shops are but a 2 minute drive away near the service station. There is a laundry and clothes drying facility on the site as it also caters for caravaners. Easy entry and exit method. You can book tours from here as well or from the information centre just across the road. Stuff were helpful and knew their stuff. Wifi was good too. This is a great place to stay. 2 air conditioners are on the wall one in the living room and one in the bedroom.

We stayed in a Blue Reef Studio and on arrival we were very happy initially, it looked clean and comfortable. But several things let the experience down. We booked for 2 adults, a 6 year old and a 2 year old, typically I think this room type only accommodates three people, but I spoke to reception when booking and she kindly said they would accept our two year old as she would be sharing our bed, so no extra bedding was required. Although the (incredibly uncomfortable I felt sorry for my son) sofa bed is a double configuration , so I’m not quite sure why they can’t have two small children anyway...
Some of the negatives- We received no sheets for the sofa bed and only two towels! I went to get some sheets and some more towels and was then questioned about my 2 year old, even though I had already spoken to someone and confirmed again it was all ok for her to accommodated at final payment time a few weeks before.
There was also only 3 of everything cutlery, cups and utensils wise which made it difficult with 4 of us.
In the bathroom there was a tiny tube of shampoo, conditioner and body wash, nothing was replenished in 7 days including the toilet paper. Two new towels were however placed in the room mid stay, but that was the extent of any servicing.
The major disappointment for us was this was a family holiday over New Years, the camp wasn’t full by any means but it was over half full I would say and absolutely nothing was organised in the way of entertainment. We thought at least something would be organised for New Years, but nothing! Other RAC Resorts have been wonderful with kids activities etc. but you even had to pay to get the ping pong sets here. They advertise movie nights on their Facebook page, but there wasn’t even that....
This could be a great park, but you can’t just offer the best service during the peak times, it should be offered year round! So disappointed as I’d hyped up all of the great things my son would be able to do thinking it would be a little like RAC Busselton or Monkey Mia and there was nothing remotely like them.

My sister and I stayed in the park for 3 nights in our campervan on one of the powered sites with its own ensuite and really enjoyed our stay.
The ability to have your own ensuite was great, and saved having to use communal facilities which was a plus especially in covid times. The ensuite came with a bathmat, and some hotel style toiletries, we didn't notice any servicing/cleaning during our stay which was fine by us, but for a longer stay it would be helpful, if it isn't offered as standard.
Our site had some grass and a green floor mat which was great to help keep the dust down. We used the communal laundry which was clean and tidy, and the communal washing lines.
The location is really quite convenient, we could walk to 3 different dinner places the three nights we were there including the local brewery. It is also very conveniently located for Town Beach, which was surprisingly nice to go and float in.

Hands down the best equipped park we have ever been to, doing a lot of travelling with littles in tow certain things have become very appreciated by us from parks to pools and bathrooms and park layouts. 100% hands down we loved this place and it may even the top the list as our favourite park in WA. With two little people parents rooms make life easier and to our absolute delight when we walked into this one there was a full size bath, baby bath, shower and toilet for us and out 4yo. Best. Layout. Ever.
❤️ this place and will be back time and time again

We recently stayed a few nights at the RAC Holiday Park on the main road in the centre of Exmouth. This is a large facility with hundreds of dedicated spots for a variety of campervan, motorhome, tent spots and motel style units. All is available to be viewed on their website where you can reserve your stay as well.
They have an internal entry for parking, large lobby and check-in area, tour operator services and some basic food & drinks available. There is a nice pool, communal kitchen setup and coffee truck open during the mornings.
During our stay we booked one of their motel units and found it quite sufficient for those traveling around W.A. with rental cars. Space was pretty good, simple but fit for purpose, especially if you are really only using the room as a place to sleep in the evenings. There is table, basic kitchenette, for heating up and eating simple & prepared meals not cooking. Bathroom did the job just fine, TV, A/C and lightening all worked just fine. Bed was comfortable as well. Wifi didn't work particularly well during our stay, was quite slow during our stay.
Overall, we liked the communal feel and overall setup of the RAC in Exmouth. Location is good as well. There are restaurants and Ningaloo Visitor and Discovery Centre within short walking distance and you are only 30-45 minutes drive to the Cape Range NP hiking areas and Ningaloo coastline beaches. Would gladly stay here again next time in Exmouth.

Thank you RAC for letting us have our dogs with us out of season. WE had a huge site, and very grateful for this. It was clean and the staff friendly and always around. Highly recommend this caravan park. Easy walking to the shopping area, local breweries close by. Excellent. Some of the shower blocks were certainly newer and fresher, but all were clean. It would help if campers and caravaners used the mop provided after their shower....

Have been through a lot of parks in the last 6 months and not impressed with this one. Expensive due to a captive tourist crowd, toilets are not cleaned well and cleaned too early in the day. If you shower of an evening it's unlikely you'll get hot water.

Such a pleasure to stay here, clean, well maintained, fully staffed, good value for money and highly recommended for anyone. Whether you stay in a cabin, bring your own caravan or tent, the facilities are excelled. This includes 2 lovely pools, amazing camp kitchen facilities, many toilet blocks with insect screens, games rooms, staff in office full time, gardeners and cleaners maintaining facilities around the clock. What was even more surprising was that as an RAC member we only paid $40 per night for a powered tent site in comparison to an average of $50-$55 on elsewhere with less to offer. Thanks, we loved it!!

We booked an ensuite powered site for 3 nights and the site was clean with very good service. A little bit overcrowded but it's ok. The location is very nice, not far away from Turquose Bay. The only negative things is they don't have WIFI and there is no line, the only chances to here someone is from Info DOC. Since the prices are higher than others park around Australia I wouldn't mind to have a slow wifi service.

Hi! The washing machines are coin operated. Do bring pegs to hang washing on the lines provided. Otherwise, there're dryers (from memory). Hope this helps.
Hi Toni,
Thank you for your enquiry. We allow dogs onto our powered and unpowered sites only as it is illegal to have pets, with the exception of guide dogs in hotel style accommodation, i.e cabins, rooms, dorms etc.
Kind Regards,
Jana
I reckon if you go before oct if you can, possibly August you will be able to swim with the whale sharks, see whales and dugongs. A week is a good amount of time. Make sure you check out Yardi Gorge, Turqouise Bay, Oyster stacks. You might need a wet suit as the water was quite cool last week when I was there. The town is small but plenty of do and everything that you pay in Exmouth is much cheaper than Broome. You may be in time for the turtle breeding season.
There are more places to choose from in the Exmouth area.
