Just have to mention the staircase in case you take toddlers/small children/elderly, we had a unit with two double bedrooms downstairs and the upstairs had four single beds. The stairs are very very steep with no gate at the top, the family staying next door had to pull one of the beds across the opening to stop their 3yr old from accessing the stairs..take your own baby gate. Having said that the unit was great, very clean, great bedding , great location, 5 min to an uncrowded beach, 4 km into the centre of Dunsborough, activities like tennis, playground, bbqs, pool and table football ( charges ) great place to stay for a quiet break and to explore the Margaret River area.

This is the third year running my wife and I have stayed at Bayside in one of the beautiful chalets. Each time we've had a different room and they've all been excellent. You'd have to be churlish to find any major faults with this property, yes you can always find issues anywhere if you look but you can sort these out. Fantastic location across the road from the beach, beautiful grounds and very clean and spacious chalets. Tennis court, pool table, table tennis and a barbecue on site. Toby's inlet is at the rear of the property,10 minute drive from Dunsborough town centre. Strongly recommended.

Absolutely beautiful location - directly opposite the beach. Highly recommended accommodation for families or couples - just a bike ride away from Dunsborough. Unit was clean, comfortable and very well equipped - dishwasher, washing machine, clothes dryer, gas heater, outdoor setting, safe parking area, Nespresso machine. We will definitely be back.

Great location, I just wish that the units had a thorough gclean before guests arrive, now Im not a fussy person, but had to sweep the floor as there were little bugs throughout the unit. When we are paying top dollar in Australia atm for holidays I just wish that managers of these resorts looked for that point of difference. Other than that outdoor facilities and gardens are beautiful

Response from Dan Mann, General Manager at Bayshore Beachside Resort
Responded 8 Oct 2020
Thank you for the positive comments re our gardens and out door areas. We are sure you very happy with the villa, furnishings and overall comfort provided. Your highlighted comment re the bugs and that management should pay more attention, was a little bit unfair due to this whole area is inundated Oct/Nov with what we call wine bugs. They get in thru the flywire. We clean up the tiny bugs prior to guests arrival however as you would have experienced they reappear.Long weekends do attract a higher tariff due to the discounted rates offered other times.

Some five kms from the town centre, the location is excellent. The resort itself is well laid out and well maintained in the common areas (the club room was shut due to covid) . Again, due to covid, it was difficult to judge the reception experience as most was done at arms length. When booking staff were helpful and friendly. The accommodation is spacious and welcoming. The downside for us was the general tired look of the interior and obvious lack of attention to cleaning. Bedroom shelves were stained and dirty around the edges. Some utensils we had to clean before using them. Come on Owners, we know times are tough but a lick of paint and attention to a higher level of cleanliness and you would have had a 5

Great spot to visit. Down south there is always something new to see and do. The drive to anywhere is picturesque and enjoyable. Bay shore is in a superb location. Grounds are well kept, it’s quiet, clean and comfortable. We stayed in a 2 room spa chalet for a reasonable price on a weekend 2-night stay. Self-contained, air conditioning was on when we arrived in the evening to warm the place up - nice and cosy. Spa was relaxing. The staff member we met was very friendly and accommodating, thanks! We played a game of tennis, walked along the inlet and to the beach just over the road. Didn’t get to use the bbq facilities, but keen to stay here again. Definitely recommend Bayshore, kids had fun and we loved it!

We stayed at Bayshore between Christmas and New Year and had a fantastic holiday. We had a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom villa, it was very clean, spacious and well equipped for 4 adults and 2 children. The reception was very friendly and check in was easy. The gardens are immaculate, with lovely BBQ and play area. Great location across the road from a crystal clear beach. Definitely be back .

We stayed at this property in late June of this year and it was perfect.

It is located across the road from the pristine waters of Geographe Bay and only about 5 minutes drive to the centre of town.

The units are beautifully furnished (we had unit 3) and spotlessly clean.

It just makes for the perfect base from which to explore the region.

The resort manager was very friendly and happy to assist and advise where required.

We stayed in a large villa, which was indeed spacious & had a private outdoor area in the rear. The lounge area had AC & the bedroom had a fan, which was adequate to allow us to sleep comfortably. Location is good, across the road & then a short walk to the beach. Dunsborough is a lovely town & not far away. We thought the property overpriced (but that may've been supply & demand, being Ironman weekend). The grounds were immaculate but the interior needed some attention, with dripping tap & missing hooks

First time at Bayshore, been there for 3 nights. We were so lucky to get 2 bullas the last minute to be honest. We had villa 12 which has a Spa, the only problem which we faced was no hot water the next day since we’ve used the spa the night before; this doesn’t make sense as there was no note or information to mention about it. We struggled the next day then the day after hot water was back on. Play area is nice and tennis court so good, bbq area is amazing as it has blinds when windy or cold which makes it cozy and warm. We enjoyed the overall stay and surrounding in general, the place is clean and safe.

To my knowledge there is not a spa room with a wood fire. The website has a good description of the villa layouts.
