Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Cant beat the location, right in the middle of town and a short walk to the beach, albeit not a great beach for swimming, but nice for a morning walk under the trees and along the beach path. I was sharing a two bedroom chalet with a friend and two teenage boys. Space was fine but having the shower/toilet/laundry all in one room did make it a bit awkward if you are not with your own family as there was no privacy. We were only given one towel each, and one hand towel for 4 people and 1 bathmat, and one toilet roll - not really suitable, especially when you ask for me the staff made it seem like an incovenience. For a weeks stay we had no room service in between, no change of sheets or new towels. At the very least it would have been nice to have some fresh towels dropped off. We were Chalet #15, don't book this one if you have young kids or like a sleep in! Its pretty noisy, backs onto Dunn Bay road so noise of cars in peak season starting 5am!. Also this is right next door to the Pourhouse pub which has an outdoor beer garden and balcony, so noise from there at night, and then 7am music blaring when it opens for coffee. The pool was out of action, whilst we were told about this prior to staying, to be honest the pool area was pretty grim so unikely we would have used it anyway For the price paid I would expect more amenities and more room servicing

Great location and space. Number of beds available also good and comfy. Kitchen is a good size though lacks full cutlery & other equipment. My booking was for 6 people, but there was only 4 dining seats and a 3 seater sofa. This is poor when offering accommodation for up to 7 people and we could not all sit together whether watching TV or having a meal. Getting a bit old, outdated furniture and needs a good clean and declutterring. There was leftover icecream in a cup in the main, kitchen fridge/ freezer. I do not recommend based on the above.

We’ve stayed here three times - always during the Christmas period. We love this place. The units are simple and great for families. The location is perfect - you can walk to town, the stunning beach and coffee shops in 3 minutes. It all makes for a brilliant, easy family holiday. The only improvement I would ask for is that a cleaning spray is provided and more bin bags. It’s not something I want to be buying on holiday. But it means you can’t keep things clean if you’re there for a week.

No room service, have to make the bed as how it looks when you enter. Way too expensive for "no room cleaning" the bed has mites. Got bitten all over hands and legs all night. I don't think they even change the bed sheets. Old fashion room

A great place to stay, close to the beach and the shops. Very central and convenient. The room was clean and tidy and well equiped. We stayed for a week and wish we could stay for longer. Quiet and relaxing and the staff were lovely. We had a spa apartment which wa very comfortable for a couple.

We stayed here for 1 week (and should have stayed for another). It is a very relaxing place and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. All we needed to bring was food. The airconditioned cottage was warm and cosy and we slept well on a comfortable bed. Also it was good to have a washing machine and dryer in the cottage. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a very well located accommodation complex. From here it is easy walking distance to the water or a walk to the shops, pubs, coffee shops or pharmacy, etc. If you want to go further afield Augusta is just over an hour away and Margaret River about 30 mins. Busselton is about 25 mins away. Check-in was very efficient even though we arrived very early. The room was an all-in-one and self-contained with laundry facilities in the foyer of the room. The rooms are getting a little tired and ready for an update but are perfectly serviceable.

Excellent spot for our trip around Margaret River. Local beaches very good fir walking and the sea was lively. Dunsborough very good little town . Food outlets very good but opening times could be better. Bay villas are good but some TLC is needed. Pool needs updating.
