Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The B&B is a residential house in a quiet street, with the front of the property dedicated to two bedrooms and a breakfast room. The front room is the smaller of the two but still spacious, and handy if you’re an early riser and want to head out without disturbing the other guests. The town is an easy 15-20 minute walk out of the estate and down the main road on the new footpath. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book again.

The room was wonderful very clean and modern. The king size bed and pillows were very comfy. Thought the bathroom was very clean and spacious and loved the towels. Loved the aircon especially as we travelled December/January and gets pretty hot in Dunsborough. We loved the special touches with chocolates, port and bar fridges in our room.

Disliked · Nothing .. really loved this place. One thing is that the accommodation is a reasonable walk (30min) into the town but very easily accessible by car.

My husband and I were coming down to Margaret River for a few nights and decided we’d head down after he finished work and spend a night in Dunsborough so we had the whole next day douth. Meelup B&B had great reviews and looked really clean. I am super fussy with where I stay! This room was just perfect!!! It was so easy to self check in/out, sally was great to communicate with, the room was spacious, very comfortable bed and had everything you could need. Like everyone says, Sally really has thought of everything. The chocolates and port was such a lovely bonus. We were sad that we only got to stay one night. Super close, easy walk into town too. Thank you Sally for your amazing hospitality, Meelup B&B was beautiful!

Sally and family made our stay really enjoyable at Meelup B and B with plenty of thoughtful touches such as sweets, fruit and port in the hallway, a really king sized comfortable bed plus a jacuzzi bath and double shower. I am convinced that this bed and breakfast ranks as one of the best in WA especially as it is less than 5 min drive to the town centre and beaches.

The Meelup B & B has everything for a comfortable stay in Dunborough. It is in a quiet street with many lovely native gardens. Sally is a great host with lots of interest in what we want to so she can provide relevant advice. The room was really comfortable and there were lots of nice touches including a fruit bowl with oranges, apples and bananas; a bowl of chocolates and a carafe of port for the end of evening nightcap. The location is more than 1500 metres from the main street but it was easy to get around with a car. We really enjoyed our stay at Meelup B & B and would stay there again when we next visit that area.

We had a very pleasant stay in Meelup B&B! The hostess was very friendly, the rooms spacious and clean, and the location is perfect for a wineries tour or beach visit. The breakfast is good, although it might be perfect if it some yoghurt (to mix with the cereal). Once we visit Margaret River area again, we will go to Meelup B&B for sure.

Rented two rooms each with private facilities, large rooms modern and clean with modern fittings. Nicely cooked breakfast. Close (by car) to Cape Naturaliste lighthouse. Choices for eating in Dunsborough five minutes by car. Would come again when down this way.

Dunsborough is a beautiful part of the world and well worth a visit. We went for a wedding, so did not want to rent an apartment or house for our stay there.
Sally was the perfect host, the room was large quiet, clean with a very comfortable bed.
Breakfast was superb.
We would happily stay again if we were a return visitor to Dunsborough
