The Donnybrook Hotel is a staple in this beautiful town. The owners have done an excellent job in restoring this beauty of a building. It’s a great place to meet friends for a drink, and the meals are amazing. Everything you could wish for in a country pub. The newly restored accommodation upstairs is the perfect asset to this hotel if you wish for a place to lay your head after a day of travelling or if you are just passing through. Would rate 10/10 👏🏼

A crowd of us booked for early Sunday evening meal. Great service and the food was amazing - big portions with great prices. Everyone enjoyed their meals and can particularly recommend the beef Vindaloo very authentic. Thoroughly recommend this place

The Donnybrook Hotel is the place you want to take your friends and family for a fun loving country night out. The food is sensational, the service is outstanding and the drinks are cold. The meat raffle on a Friday night sees the whole town turn out to see who will take home the prizes. Well done Mark and Jason.

Fairly average food with service to match. I had grilled chicken which was a breast with frozen crinkle cut chips and fairly ordinary salad. My partner had chicken carbonara that he rated a 7 out of 10.
Only one red wine available in either Shiraz or Cab Merlot - that I didn’t particularly like (Barrecas).
For the $80 we paid two meals and a drink each I would look elsewhere.
When we asked for water we were very offhandedly told to go to the bar.

I like pubs in general so it's hard to disappoint me. They sell many beverages of an alcoholic nature. I really enjoyed the local wine they serve. I had the chicken, wife had the steak. Would love to come down here on a Friday night on my own to get completely lashed but that seems unlikely. My only criticism might be the ceiling - it was looking a bit tired but who's worried about that?
