I stayed in a room with an ensuite which was nice, but the shared bathrooms were really nice as well, large showers, very clean, lots of counter space and mirrors. My friend had a room with a kitchen and living room great for a family. Huge veranda to relax and watch the kids play. Huge warm pool, very clean. A...

An Australia Day visit with my band. A great, casual beer garden atmosphere with seperate bar a BBQ area. Meals in the bar were tasty with easy going, professional service. The rooms were HUGE and the large fibreglass pool, perfect. See you again.

Recently attended as a group of 8 for a quick dinner and contacted hotel in advance to see if they could provide any gluten free options. Arranged for gluten free pizza bases but when we turned up, the chef had very kindly arranged for gluten free batter for fish, and a few other options in addition to the pizza bases...

We stayed in Room 20, which has ensuite and a separate lounge; and opens direct onto the lawns and the balcony. It was a fine and inexpensive place. My heart goes out to the owners, who manage to retain an extraordinary heritage building and enable access by the general public, in a location which requires a car or bike for...

Comfortable enough but bathroom needed a good clean. Mould in shower grout. No meals available on Tuesday evening or for Wednesday breakfast. Located by the Irwin River a short walk to Dongara town centre.

Great location for a small conference and meeting. Old Pub with a lot of history had all the facilities we needed, including WiFi, Projector and Screen, Coffee/Tea, Lunch and Drinks after the meeting.

We stayed overnight in room 20 which is a unit at the back of the accommodation building which is made up of separate bedroom plus a sitting area with cooking facilities. We went prepared for an old heritage property that would be tired and need of maintenance. This was the case, however the bathroom was spotless and the bed was...

Lovely old building, worth visiting just to look at the building. Very friendly locals, whi gave us a bit of good natured cheek and a dog at the bar. Good fun. Beer $8 a pint, but as a oncer while we were up this way, worth it.

Stayed for one night whilst travelling in business and the room was comfortable and clean. The old buildings and grounds are very nice and the meal was huge! By country standards quite a nice place to stay. I stayed in a room with ensuite however some have to share a communal bathroom.

What has Dongara got going for it? Not a lot really and even when combined with Port Dennison it doesn't really get better. But within it is a place that could be a real gem, the Prioy Hotel. The site is an old nunnery and looking at it now you could imagine the nuns within doing what nuns do. The...
