Stayed in the 3 bedroom chalet for 2 nights. Loved it! Super clean (could smell the bleach when we entered but it's good to know they put in the effort to clean thoroughly during COVID), beds and pillows were super comfy, towels and soap provided. Beach is just a few meters away but has lots of seaweed. This didn't stop the kids from playing there though! Used the bbq by the pool to cook our dinner. Plenty of benches there and a big TV. Would be back! Maybe next time in a caravan!

We recently spent some time at the Seaspray in our caravan, it is a very clean and well organised site with excellent facilities and large bays for the vans. The site is opposite the beach and so close you can hear the waves breaking on the sand, the fishing from the beach is very good. The staff are very friendly and the manager John and his wife Pam are very nice people who go up & above the normal to make your stay pleasant, plus they support a great AFL side. I will be back to the Seaspray again and would recommend this park to all travelers who wish to stay in Dongara.

We only stayed one night on our return from coral bay. Such a beautiful camp site with excellent modern spacious on-suites. Great location for fishing and the cafe that opens Friday evenings for meals is a quirky place with outstanding food. The pool area is beautiful and amenities excellent. The team in the cafe and reception are all very friendly and welcoming. We will defiantly be back

The park itself was great and the location is awesome. Unfortunately due to an extended cyclone power outage we could not access the Cafe or have hot showers. Our van has 12v power with solar charging so having no power wasn't our main issue as we knew there was no power prior to departing home.
What we did take exception to was the park owners running a generator to power their office directly opposite our site (only turning it off between midnight and 4am). Whilst we are sympathetic to their power needs for refrigeration, etc, the generator should have been placed on the opposite side of the office and the power leads run accordingly so that noise was shielded from paying customer's sites. (indeed they had 2 other generators running on the other side). We spoke to the owners about this and they offered us to move sites however we were of the opinion that if we were going to pack up to move sites, we might as well pack up and leave. The rear row of sites had no one occupying them and we should have been put up there in the first instance.
We decided to stay hoping that the power would be restored. We had to go out everyday to get away from the noise. On the third night the generator ran all night and we packed up and went home. (We had booked for 6 nights). Guests are not permitted to make excessive noise, yet apparently the owners can do what they want at the detriment of their paying customers. I am sure if I had brought along a generator and fired it up I would have been told very quickly to shut it down!!! Unfortunately we wont be back.

The location itself is great- by the beach for nice sunsets and I had a relaxing swim in their inviting (though a bit on the small side) outdoor pool in the late afternoon. It was uncrowded at that time. Their small onsite cafe is great, but fills quickly with customers.

The "large budget cabin" we had for 1 night was fine with all the usual good amenities (kettle, hair dryer, microwave only/no stove, soaps etc), but several little things detracted from it being a very good experience. Firstly, booking.com described it as featuring "a bedroom with double bed, set of bunk beds, sofa..." with matching pictures (as per my confirmation email also), but we got a small cabin with just the double bed and sofa. They seem to have fixed this error now. The room did feel a tad cramped even for 2 people.

The bathroom was small and functional, but its window was not frosted and it felt a little strange for privacy reasons. We could've used a second mirror outside the bathroom. TV reception was a bit iffy- eg. Channel 7 had no pictures, just audio. There were small tears and water damage in the vinyl flooring. The clothes rack was left loosely assembled, which I fixed in a minute. These are mainly small things, but unfortunately, we had poorer sleep due to the position of the air conditioning directly at the foot of the bed. To avoid getting blown in the face by the wind, which is uncomfortable for sleeping, we turned it off (adjustments by the remote didn't help) and opened a window instead. Due to the coastal winds, the blinds would periodically bang against the window and these little noises were enough to wake us several times through the night. In hindsight, maybe rolling the blinds all the way up might have helped, but again...privacy.

We booked a cabin with "a bedroom with double bed, set of bunk beds" maximum 4 people via booking.com. When we arrived at Seaspray we were given a microscopic sized 'motel' room with a double bed. When I went to enquiry, I was told by the stony-faced receptionist that I could have a bigger motel room for an additional $15 on top of my booking.com fee, which we went to look at. It still wasn't what we had paid for so we approached the receptionist again this time showing them our booking.com reservation. At that point, a woman "who had been away on holidays" intervened and looked at our booking to which we were given an 'apartment' as an upgrade as clearly the cabin we booked was not available. As much as we appreciated the upgrade, the poor (cold) receptionist left us not ever wanting to return. You can't just stare at clients without any modicum of professional communication. A simple apology would have gone very far, but there was nothing of the sort. This IS the problem in Western Australia and the reason why many of us go to Asia for holidays. If West Aussie tourist operators want us to holiday here after the borders are opened, they need to up their game in terms of customer service.

Thank you for your review. We do apoligise for the mix up with your Budget Cabin, we have corrected this so it will not happen again and also for the way the Receptionist treated you, this is not like her at all.. We appreciate all feed back from our guest. Happy to hear you appreciated the upgrade to a 2 bedroom Apartment. We do hope this will not deter you from holidaying in Western Australia we certainly live in an amazing state that has so much to offer and are blessed that we can all travel freely during the COVID 19. We just drove across Australia, Sydney to Broome then around the Kimberley and this was the best caravan park we experienced. Individual shower/toilets with keys right beside each campsite, fire was prepared for sunset deck on the beach, wonderful helpful service (by the replacement caretaker who was there for the owners holidays). Highly recommended!

In times of trouble, you've get to know the true nature of people. We have experienced this at seaspray.

A huge thank to Johnno, Pam and chrissy for the outstanding service and hospitality during the last 7 weeks while the Covid-19 lockdown was in place. From the first to the last moment, they made us (and all other people who were stuck) feel welcome and they took care for us as real professionals should do. We couldn't feel more welcome as with them on this campsite. Also, having an ensuite was a very welcome extra while traveling in a campertrailer for a whole year. If we could give 10 stars, we would have done it!

Thank you again from the Dutchies, we will never forget the sausage sizzle :)!

We are on our last night's stay in a beautiful 3 bedroom chalet behind the pool area. The chalet is spacious, very clean and modern. Contains full Kitchen, comfortable queen beds and a top bunk. The bathroom is excellent with fully enclosed shower and plenty of room. We have never came across such a clean family friendly resort with beautiful garden and pool area, complete with it's BBQ facility with a large screen tv. There is an amazing cafe also located at the beach side for breakfast, lunch and a few nights for dinner. If you ever come to Dongara I would highly recommend staying here. We can't wait to return to visit this lovely resort and it's awesome Management and staff again.

This is a favourite spot for my husband and I to visit. The ocean views, the spacious grass sites, ensuite sites what more can you ask for? Fantastic! The staff are very friendly and the place is always clean and tidy. Heard a crazy rumour that the ensuite caravan prices were increasing by $15/ night😱The prices have always been very reasonable so I asked the Manager and found this is totally untrue. What a horrible rumour to spread! Whew! There are NO price increases planned for the immediate future. If and when the next one occurs it will probably be a maximum of a couple of dollars. You can all relax
