Really enjoyed our 3 night stay, rooms very clean and comfortable, great location, nice view of hills and cows. Jenny and Phil very friendly and hospitable, beautiful cooked breakfast and the port and chocolates at night a nice touch. Tea and coffee was available all day with home made muffins. Thanks Jenny and Phil! James and Sheryl.

I stayed with my son at the Grange on Shadforth. It was very good. The host was very warming and friendly. They had lovely food for breakfast with freshly made jams. You can also have the option of hot breakfast. It was also very nice when you came back in the evening and you would receive chocolates and a small drink for a treat.

We stayed 3 nights with our 2 children. The price per night was the highest of our stay in WA as we had to book 2 rooms. I will not consider this place as luxury but comfy. Breakfast was the same for 3 days. We would have appreciated some variety and frest fruits. There is no cooking facility so again not ideal for a family. The hosts are nice and welcoming. However they dont have any tips on off beaten track recommendations. I relied on the 9.8 ranking when i booked and i didnt think it was an exceptional place. We had 4 accommodations during our 11 nights in WA. This was the most expensive by far and the one we enjoyed least (we did glamping in margaret river. We had a flat in fremantle and another b&b in a farmstay).

In response to your review of The Grange , we find it rather perplexing at the criticizing of our facilities as on the website you booked on and our own website clearly states that we are a bed and breakfast establishment and not self contained, having said that your were quite happy for us to heat food up for you and lay the table with crockery and cutlery which we also provide for you and at no time during your stay did you intimate to us that things were less than satisfactory and acceptable to you. Regarding breakfast same for 3 days in a row we offer a standard breakfast not a gourmet one. Regarding the price you paid, it was high season and we do not offer family rooms, however if you had taken the trouble to go direct to our website and book direct you would have saved a lot of money We did point out all places of interest in Denmark and surrounds, to find info on off the beaten track places, the Visitor Center may have been able to help you. As to our rating we have been operating for many years and have had only 1 other adverse comment, and it would seem that a Bed and Breakfast is not the place for you and your family.

A lovely place to stay, quiet, relaxed, comfortable. Perfect location for exploring the region, handy to Albany and the national parks. Our hosts were excellent, knowledgeable about local items of interest, provided a lovely breakfast and kept the fire going on the chilly nights!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Grange. So close to Denmark town yet still felt like a country retreat. Myself and my two kids aged under 11 were very well treated and enjoyed our brekky with other guests. My nightly glass of port was a great touch and great fully received.

We came here for a few days showing our New Zealand friends the Southwest of Western Australia and we just selected Grange of the Internet and it did not disappoint. Very welcoming and friendly in a quiet location but only 5 minutes to the town centre. The rooms are nicely appointed and comfortable and breakfast was superb nothing more is required. Superb thanks guys

I don't think we have ever been so cared for in a BnB before, exceptional customer service was given. The hosts are true professionals. And the BnB has lovely views, a great bed and it is all so roomy - the guest lounge is large with big leather settees, and the bedroom large with lots of room and storage space and great views. And we had our own personal log fire lit for us! It is very English. The accommodation is a purpose built BnB in a colonial style with English colonial decor to match (pics of sheep in snow, that kind of thing). It is beautifully kept and clean. It was exceptionally peaceful and at the top of Mt Shadforth so about 10 mins up the hill from Denmark but well worth the drive for the view. Very good value - we got a discount for staying 4 nights. They served gluten free food too plus a continental breakfast with home made jams plus a cooked breakfast, and they let us bring food home in the evening to eat there. It was an excellent stay.…

We are always more than happy to our try and meet our guests dietary needs when ever possible, all part of making you feel at home. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us, even if you did not get a good pic of that pesky white breasted robin!!!! Warmest Regards, Jenny & Philip.
