Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed here for 3 nights.. very clean park.. the only problem I had is that the amenities block gets cleaned at about 7.30 am.. just when most people r getting up and going to the toilet and showering.. I was needing to use toilet really bad and it was closed at 7.45am.. when I asked .. can I come in.. she said no.. u have to walk right across park to use other block.. how stupid to clean that early.. at least let people get showered and done for the day before u shut toilets.. so we didn't stay longer as we was going to as demark is a lovely place..

Stopped in to visit the new(ish) Reminisce Cafe. Had a lovely catchup chat with Noel and Rosie who suggested trying the fish and chips. So glad we did. Great size meal, fish sweet andbatter not greasy, chips and salad perfect. Coffee hot and tastes great. Will definitely stay here again next time we're in Denmark.

Loved3x my camping stay at Denmark Rivermouth. It's a very last minute trip during xmas period and I was glad I could find something to book! I was actually quite nervous because it's my first camping trip and I just bought my new tent, but I was very3x proud of myself cos I successfully built it all by myself so easily! 😊 It's also all made possible thanks to the soft and immaculate grass area which makes building the tent so easy. It's evident that the grounds are properly taken care of. It's green, it's shady and just peaceful despite it being very busy season (but note to self for next time: avoid corner sites as it tends to get noisier from cars coming in and out and ppl walking around the corner, esp in the morning). The campground is close to town, the staff were amazing and friendly, the river is absolutely beautiful, the facilities were clean and there's lots of activities you can do: join the river cruise, swim in the river, kayaking, fishing, SUP, paddle boat or you can even walk on the nearby heritage trail. There's 2 bathroom blocks...one older, one newer. I always just used the newer one and it's amazing! The shower pressure was strong with plenty of cubicles to choose and great hot water (the water gets hot very quickly with only a little turn so be careful not to burn yourself). What I also like about this campground was the 9pm curfew and it was actually enforced. It goes to show the staff really do care about everyone's having a good and quiet times at night. There's an on-site cafe. I didn't try the food, but their coffee was great. Some reviews commented about the expensive price for the powered sites, but I think it's reasonable considering the good quality of facilities we get in return. Unfortunately I missed the river cruise...but I will definitely come back again to camp and do the cruise. Great experience overall!

Caravan Park is well located - easy flat walking distance to town less than 2km. On the Bibbulmun Track. Caravan Park has Reminisce Cafe on site - reasonably priced meals open 7.30am to 6pm BYO!! Good camp kitchen with undercover BBQ's lots of tables - microwave fridge etc. New Toilet/Shower Facilities. Good laundry facilities. Quiet caravan park surrounded by trees, sites vary in size, larger ones are abutting the estuary. Caravan park does hire SUPs, kayaks but by the hour only. Also hires boats with slides that look fun for kids. Boat ramp is situated here as well. A Short walk is a tree rope that kids seem to love to swing out and drop into the river or climb and jump off bridge. Lovely walk into town - turn right cross over the bridge walk along the river's edge into town then walk opposite way home. Denmark Town has 2 IGA's including a very large supermarket IGA which has everything you need at a reasonable price - a local pub with TAB. 2 Bakeries, numerous coffee shops and a tea house. Has a surf shop, op shop and craft shop. A Local Department store that sells everything. A quirky toy store, yoga. Many interesting boutique clothing and food stores. Town Library and performing arts centre and a cop shop. Wineries are located very close by along or just off Scottsdale Scenic Drive. Standouts for us were Rockcliffe Winery - (HIPCAMP - fully self contained campers). Rockcliffe has concerts every Friday night in January $10 entry family friendly - Great for wine tastings - good place to buy a bottle - take a picnic and sit out on the lawn. Single File Winery had a great view and upon arriving you are seated at an outside table and tasting is held at your table - friendly and personable. Recommend lunch at Duckett's Mill Wines and Denmark Farmhouse Cheese. Here you can purchase the most bountiful platters of glorious meat cheese and breads, service is fabulous. You can also purchase take home sour dough bread, cheese, ice-cream etc. You are seated on a verandah overlooking the winery. Forrest Hill is also an impressive winery - charges $10 for tastings but waves this fee if you purchase a bottle. Not into wineries - Greens Pool and Elephant Rocks is sure to impress - cool calm seas great for young children, pristine ocean great for snorkeling. Day trip - Albany 30minutes, Mt Barker 30minutes and if in January look out for Grapes and Gallops in Mt Barker for a great day out at the horse races.

Lovely location close to river for fishing and ocean for swimming and surfing. Close to walking trails and accessibility to town great. The cafe looked nice did not use though. We had a great spot near ablution block. The kitchen on one side the toaster only had one slot working ( needed a new one) and microwave a bit old. Bbqs clean and efficient

Room Tip: A bit muddy in places and the park roads need an upgrade many potholes that you can trip up into....

This caravan park is ! kl out of Denmark town. Right on the inlet and river. Boat ramp next door. Lovely park with adequate amenities. Cafe as well. Playground for kids with enough without the bouncing Balloons. Camp kitchen is good. 1 older than the back one. Plenty of toilets but front one is old and very smelly. The other 2 were newer and in good condition. Chalets are good size and clean. Ours over looked the jetty and ws lovely. Bike ride into town was great for the kids as you had a map to find the 12 hidden fairy doors. Would go back again.

Having been to this caravan park at least 5 times in the last couple of years it saddens me to have to rate this park as low as I did. On arrival (a group of 3 vans) we were checked in by a lovely young girl at reception. Our bay was extremely sandy and our travelling companion was supposed to be opposite us but wasn’t. He had a large van and when parked on his bay away from us, he encroached on the rear bay and his drawbar was on the edge of the road. When we looked, the men decided to go back to the office to see if he could move to a larger site. The young girl was trying to accomodate him and went to the back of the office to check with someone who then came down to the site and asked if this was ‘the problem van’ . As I was standing there minding my friends dog I said ‘yes it is’ . She said to me so what’s the problem’. I said we were worried about the length of the van encroaching etc. She then said take the bikes off and I replied we shouldn’t have to! I was then told she would refund my money. I didn’t want a refund. I also queried if the park had changed ownership and then things went from bad to worse……she again said I’ll refund your money and I said no thank you. The lady then said ‘wellstop your whinging’. I felt insulted and upset and it is definitely the last time we will visit this park! The park itself needs a big tidy up and some money spent on it. Big 4 for us and our friends next time. I just hope the lady in question reads this and understands she can’t speak to people like this as we are / were their clientele.
