Lovely room, very spacious. Separate living and bedroom areas. Very clean. Best thing was the fully stocked kitchen ( pots etc) which had a real stove as well as a microwave, bar fridge and sink. Aircon and wifi worked well. There's a tavern right next door ( no noise) which was very popular and probably with a visit. Short drive to town where this is a large IGA

Every room had a beauiful rural view, privacy, peaceful, GREAT value as lovely fluffy blue towels (sick of white all the time!), nice toiletries, hair dryer, quality Dilmah tea, milk, cold water & packets of bikkies, free dvds, air con all included. Because its rammed earth, so private and quiet, could NOT hear a thing from people next door as the walls are SO thick. Great insulation. Comfy bed. Very spacious rooms with the high ceilings, it was nice to hear the rain & see the beautiful birds from our private verandah. Staff were amazing, as we had not booked in we just rocked up. They were very welcoming and chatty. Wish we could have stayed longer. Do yourself a favour and choose Koorabup. We'll BE BACK!

I spent two nights at the Koorabup during a short leisure trip to Denmark. I couldn't fault it.
The room was clean and well equipped - crockery, cutlery, etc and a microwave oven.
It is of 'rammed earth' (concrete) construction so there was absolutely no sound transmission between rooms. A full-width balcony looked across a neat lawn to some bushland.
The young man at reception was friendly and helpful on arrival.
I'd thoroughly recommend it and will stay there again when next in the area.

The motel is easy to find being located on the main road but there is some traffic noise. The one bed apartment provided everything we wanted including thick walls providing noise reduction between rooms.

The motel is located close to a tavern that provides tasty meals and surprisingly not much noise.

The sachets of shampoo require scissors to open which is awkward when showering.

Rammed earth walls and high ceilings are a feature. Otherwise it’s a classic motel.

Caused Huge Upset:
Accommodation Booked well in advance (3weeks or more), then a phone call was also made to confirm the type of accommodation we required prior to 50% payment being made as deposit. I then proceeded to book it.
I went through booking.com as I'd already spoken with the reception lady about the type of Accommodation we required and she proceeded to tell me yes that it was correct. I made payment for the two night stay.
Apon arrival at the hotel, our annoyance started with a not so pleasant greeting from the older lady at reception. After reading reviews now, I see she us rude to many people which I think is shocking. Not a great way to represent your hotel.
I explained to her that I'd already confirmed our accommodation plenty in advance, that we were booked and confirmed over the phone to have enough bed space etc and room space for our Special Needs Son too.
When the booking had been wrong, she proceeded to tell me that she is fully booked out and nothing can be done for our booking.
I naturally was annoyed but our son started having a meltdown about it because he didn't understand being Special Needs, which she then stated that she can not accommodate for our son if he is going to be disruptive like this anyway. My Fianće made sure she was told how rude she was to make such a comment about our son.
At this point the young man appeared and offered assistance to me to try rectify the situation best he could but the woman wouldn't budge and was very rude continuously. Eventually he gave me back 50% of my money which was not to the woman's liking and sadly our booking was cancelled. We should have been given a full refund and this matter has been taken further by booking.com due to the situation and all that happened.
Booking.com contacted me back with the understanding from this hotel that we simply did not show up for our booking and was a "NO SHOW" clearly we set the record straight and further we wait now for their reply.
Avoid dealing with the front office staff, we didnt even get to experience our stay here, it looked beautiful but sour experience from the beginning, we WON'T ever return to stay again. Our Special Needs Son has made it very clear he will not return to this beautiful town which is really sad to hear.

This is one of my favourite places to stay. Lovely friendly staff, comfortable accommodation with great facilities. Situated about ten minutes walk from the centre of town, it's also an easy drive to the amazing local sights, and less than an hour from Albany. Breakfast can be ordered and is delivered to the unit, but the kitchen is well equipped for self-catering. Adjacent to the motel is the tavern which offers fab food at a reasonable price. Set slightly below the main road, the Koorabup is tranquil and very relaxing - plus you might even get to see kangaroos!

Beautiful rammed earth walls, tall ceiling and plenty of space to spread out. Large balcony facing greenery at the back and convenient parking at the side of hotel. Easy walking distance to town (10 minutes) and restaurant/bottle shop conveniently located next door (1 minute). Very quiet location. Good value for money and we will definitely stay again in the future. Thank-you.

We recently had my husbands 60th Birthday at Koorabup Motel. They were great to deal with, we booked quite a few rooms and all rooms were clean and well appointed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The Tavern is within walking distance of the motel for meals, drinks and bottleshop. We had a 2 bedroom apartment and was spacious. All the wee balconies off the fronts of the rooms overlook the back of the property which is lawned and bush. Local Kangaroos came out at dusk. Overall a great stay in Denmark.

I booked directly with the Koorabup Motel, and found it very handily located on the outskirts of Denmark.

There’s a pub next door, but I never heard any noise from them.

The room was spacious, with a designated combined living / dining / kitchen area, and a separate bedroom with ensuite.

Staff service was fantastic, very friendly and helpful.

For the price and location, you can’t go past staying here.

What a wonderful motel and excellent value for money. We had a large family room with balcony which overlooked lovely grassed area. The room was a great size and had everything we needed. I also loved that you could borrow games/ DVDs from reception. Sitting on the balcony at night was so peaceful. Also great location to explore beautiful Denmark and the surrounding areas. Wish we had longer than a night here :)
