The Billabong Roadhouse offers clean and quiet accommodation. We have 8 newly refurbished rooms, all with ensuites that are complete with beds , fridge, 20 channel TV and coffee facilities. They are the best around at a very reasonable $70 a night. Two of these rooms have a double and an single bed. Our other rooms of which we have 5 are budget style. with single beds . They sleep up to 4 people comfortably. These rooms are only $60 a night. The perfect stop over. All the rooms are air conditioned and have enough parking for cars, trailers and trucks. After a long day on the road , you may want to look into our restaurant, which has a huge selection of meals to tempt any appetite with vegetarian delights and gluten free options.

My family and I stopped there twice to and back from Shark Bay, Great variety of snacks, drinks, merchandise and more. Good chicken nuggets and chips, the chicken nuggets may look a bit filling due to the size of the cup, but they are not and can feed a solo person (especially if you are starving). Smart how they have self serve for hygienic purposes, also free straws and sauce.
Much more I could talk about, 5 stars.

Stayed here for one night. For the price ($95), it was excellent value. The rooms are very small, but have everything you need. A bed, tv, fridge, and ensuite bathroom. The location is well suited for an overnight stop on a road trip to/from Perth.
The restaurant & bar was colourful, cheery and clean. While there wasn't much on offer for vegetarians, they did their best and served a tasty meal + dessert.
I didn't realise when booking, but the price also includes a continental breakfast - basically cereal, toast, & tea/coffee. Would stay here again if heading up north.

The Billabong Roadhouse is a great place to rest and/or grab a bite to eat while driving up or down Western Australia.
The rooms are comfortable and fairly priced, and there is plenty of parking available. There is also a wide selection of great-tasting food and drinks.
If you're ever planning a road trip up north (or down south, depending on where you are), you should definitely make a stop here.

Good range of food. Very bad coffee (bitter & watery) - go for a fruity Smoothie instead. Good fuel prices. Selection of souvenirs if you’re after that kind of thing. I noticed they had a freezer full of frozen curries for $5/container, which could be handy for reheating on the road.

Very clean facility and the toilets were very clean as advertised. Including a large dining area to stop and have some lunch. Lots of gift things in there too. Cheap fuel was most definitely a big plus but lots of people queued up so be prepared to Wiat a while.

Spent the night here as a break in the trip from Exmouth. Accomodation basic but clean and no road noise.
Fuel prices were the cheapest we found on the trip, in many instances cheaper than Perth.
Ate in the roadhouse restaurant for dinner, what an amazing meal. Biggest t bone I have eaten and the salmon was to die for. Great job Kevin and the girls. Such nice people in such a remote location.
Be sure to choose the most northern of the two roads houses. (BP is right next door).

I stopped overnight for a last minute booking halfway through a long drive. The staff were so kind and welcoming. The service at dinner was attentive and the food options are more varied than your typical roadhouse. Room was clean and comfortable and for an unbeatable price. I will definitely be staying again the next time I head north!

We stopped by for lunch on the way back to Kalbarri from Denham. The Roadhouse isn't too far from the Shark Bay turnoff at Hamelin Pool. They have gas as well as food and beds for those needing it. We came for gas and food. There was a decent amount of food options, mostly pre-made items near the counter but they did have a menu to order from. This included hot food as well as cold ones (like sandwiches) and dessert. I grabbed a cheese Kransky and a pig in the blanket from the hot food drawer. Both were as expected. The dining area is quite large with lots of large sharing tables around the room. There was also plenty of memorabilia, the best being the stuffed eagle. There is also some covered seats outside. Another interesting thing is that they also stock souvenirs so it is a nice stop just for that if not a toilet break.

Stopped in for diesel and coffee. Tasted like they got the two mixed up 🤮 must be using old beans or cheap brand. Had a decent selection of foods and souvenirs. Nice fast service and friendly but seriously, work on that coffee!!

Great stop kms from anywhere. Clean amenities. We got lovely frozen home cooked meals at very reasonable prices to take with us. Fuel was reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and there is a large dining area. Be sure to enter from Northern end if you want diesel. That was a little confusing with a van in tow.

Motorhome and camping is free. They do have rooms available but it depends on your definition of nice. This is the out back and the rooms are great for overnight but are not the same as what you get on London or LA in terms of nice. It is different and is an experience you shouldn't bypass in this part of the world.
