This is not a 4 star hotel by any means! The decor and furniture is old a dated and the rooms feel dark. They are also very thin! The bathroom is old and need a major update also.

The location is the best thing about the hotel being central to the entire strip of Denham.

Do not bother getting the continental breakfast. It's a very very basic setup with browning pearand apples slices, one choice of bread to toast, a few yogurts and a few cereals. We saw a few people come in and leave and go out for breakfast even though they had paid for the breakfast in the hotel.

Our biggest upset was on the last night of our stay when around 10:40pm someone in the adjoining room opened the inter connecting room door and walked straight in to our room! We were extremely concerned by this and didn't feel comfortable going back to sleep knowing total strangers could walk in at any time especially with our 4 year old daughter sleeping in the bed next to us!

We tried calling reception using the room phone to find it didn't connect. We called the resort number 4 times and on the 4th time were we put through to someone who sounded like they were picking up their mobile. "Uh hello?" I asked if I had reached the resort reception as I couldn't get through on our room phone to be laughed at and told well yeah it is 11pm at night! Oh I'm sorry even 3 star hotels I have stayed at have had an all night reception or maintenance number you can in case of emergencies! Once I told them the issue I was told they would try and figure something out. When two men arrived 5 minutes later they stated "we can't get hold of the receptionist to find out which key it should be so we are sort of winging it", great thanks that gives me huge confidence! They managed to lock it and I was told it must have been left unlocked when the cleaner went in before we checked in meaning our room had been unlocked for anyone to go in and take any of our things at any time during our whole stay!

Our room had the potential to be stunning, a king sized room with balcony overlooking the ocean. The good: Fabulous location, clean and superbly comfortable king sized bed, helpful and friendly staff. Not so good: Initially entering the room, the smell of bleach was so strong, the room and balcony door had to be left wide open for an hour. The room was dated and dark with inadequate, dated lighting and heavy dark drapes. Power points were scarce and one didn't work at all. Bathroom was outdated with very poor water pressure and only a half shower screen resulting in water on the bathroom floor. Chose to check out a day early.

The bar/ restaurant served some good meals in the evening, but they were unable to offer us cocked breakfast due to staffing issues. A local cafe was recommended but they were closed down, and there was no other alternative we could find. Our room was good, spacious with ocean view and balcony. We stayed two nights, our room was tidied but not cleaned properly and no fresh towels or replenishment of toiletries.

The location of this property was excellent, opposite the bay with stunning ocean views from the balcony. The hotel room balcony was only small but large enough for 2 people to sit. The room itself (ocean view room) was quite large however only king bedding options for 2 guests can be accommodated, we were a family of 4 and had to book two rooms. The hotel pool looked nice and with the bay across the road there are plenty of swimming options. The hotel has a reasonably priced restaurant available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, it can get busy for dinner so best to pre book a table. Everything is close to this hotel and within walking distance. We enjoyed our 2 night stay and would stay here again.

Ordered Chicken Breast Parmingana, got thigh meat, the sauce on top was so thick it was like straight out of a tomato paste jar,the mashed potato was grey and lumpy. The Fettucine Carbonara was a disgrace watery sauce in pasta there was so much sauce they should be embassed serving that slop.We also wanted a cooked Breakfast but were informed that they want be doing that,I actually rang them up before we booked to make sure that they would have full service because of Covid 19 and was assured it was. The Staff were very good i must say and i gave the waitress a good tip.The rooms were good ,but the hot water pressure was a trickle,We recieved a phone call informing us that they were fixing the hot water problem a nbd its now fixed ,run the water for a while then good to go,well it made no difference what time of day you used it.

Unfortunately wasn't a great experience. Had a palm tree smashing against the roof that kept us awake at night. Double flush in the toilet didn't work at all. No channel 7, 9 or 10 'due to a network upgrade', so couldn't watch the Brownlow medal count. Main fire hydrant outside the room was split and spraying water the whole time we were there and when I mentioned it at reception I was promptly told they already knew about it.

We stayed for 4 nights and unfortunately did not find the hotel to be as promoted. The check in process was fine with a friendly welcome, as we received from all staff during our stay. The room we were given was dirty with food scraps from the previous guests on the floor of the balcony. The balcony itself was the smallest balcony I have ever seen with just enough room for 2 small plastic chairs and the air conditioning unit. The photography used on the website made the hotel look much better than it was. The pool area was small and offered little or no shade. The corridor to our room looked like it had not been cleaned for months. The WiFi was hit and miss and when I asked if there was a problem with it I was told that some other guests had problems logging on as well. No offer to see if it could be fixed.
We ate at the restaurant on our first night and didn't go back as the food was terrible. My wife ordered a chicken dish which I am sure came out of a box, deep fried and overcooked.
All in all we loved our time in Denham and would recommend anyone one to visit it, however, find somewhere else to stay other than this resort. A resort it is not!!!!

The Heritage is an older hotel but still in good repair. Unfortunately the rooms as not very clean. The carpet in our room was quite dirty, not to look at, but contained lots of dust etc. I accidentally moved one of the very light bedside tables to reveal a good centimetre high pile of dirt and dust under it - I would hate to see what is under the beds. Whilst the room was “serviced” daily it was just rushed through with no real attention to cleanliness.
Whatever you do, do not eat in the hotel bistro- the food is almost inedible and doesn’t compete with the other restaurants in town for similar prices.”

Nah. Unbelievably bad. Room tired but worse than that toe nail cuttings next to bed suggests a vacuum cleaner was not used. Not sure if the sheets had even been cleaned. Booked the restaurant two weeks before arriving as a precaution and made sure to arrive on time. Given a nice table and settled in. About to get the meal and was advised the table was double booked and so we were unceremoniously escorted to a an overflow room. One meal arrived early and we waited for a further 15 more minutes before the next arrived. I accept that it’s busy and the pandemic has stretched everyone but if I’m paying top dollar for accomodation and meals that’s just not good enough.
Best if the management of this establishment set expectations and paced themselves for the capacity. Frankly, it was incredibly disappointing. Forget this establishment.

The restaurant attached to this hotel is a disaster. The wait between meals on the same table is anywhere from 5 - 20 minutes. The food is less then average at absolute best. The waitress literally threw our cutlery onto the table in a pile and walked off. We didn’t see one table wiped down between customers (during covid especially). Spent $$ and went to the pizza shop down the road after to eat something tasty and actually cooked. Do not spend any $ here. Not worth it.
