We Pop down to Collie for the Day to check out the Murals around town and had Lunch at the Fed. Service was fast friendly.. place was clean Including the toilets. But the Parmi We had I would Drive done there for another in a heart beat. Huge serving ( they do a half size one too for $20) Real chicken not a plastic schnitzel. Take a day trip check out the murals around town and pop into The Fed.

This hotel has a poor beer list, a poor wine list, substandard food and tacky country decor. You can rap that up with lousy service. The rooms have a stinky worker odour about them, It will leave you depressed like it did me.

Read the reviews on Google because i didn't find this hotel on TripAdvisor listed for food. It was just near our accomodation so thought we would give it a go. It was extremely busy which was not a bad thing. It added to the atmosphere. The staff were under the pump but were still pleasant. The food was great even though it was just whizzing out the door to serve a function. Overall a very nice pub to visit in the quaint country town.

We attended today for a late lunch. It was a beautiful winters day and many people were outside on the lawn area in the sun with kids. We decided to sit inside. As soon as we entered we were greeted by polite bar staff who helped us to a seat and we ordered. While pouring drinks the bar staff were friendly and chatty. Our small child’s meal came out so quickly which kept her happy and ours not long after (ordered about half hour before kitchen closed) it was a great meal, nicely presented and the pepper sauce was amazing! I particularly enjoyed the salad side to my steak as it had a nice dressing on it which sometimes I find in other establishments just gets missed out. Great, clean establishment, lovely staff and service. I will definitely be back :)

Lunchtime at the Federal Hotel in Collie. We shared two starter meals ... Fish Tacos and stuffed Potato Skins ... luckily cause you need a big appetite if you are eating these on your own. The best Fish Tacos I have ever tasted and extremely good value.
